1. Delicious pizza with great sauce
2. Not trying to be sophisticated, keeping it simple, fresh and small menu
3. Good prices
1. It's not healthy to eat pizza everyday..
Bottom line- highly recommended
THE BEST: Homemade, thin-crust pizza. As a teenager in NY, I used to get pizza from an Italian guy who made the pizzas himself, by hand. Haven't tasted one like it since I left high school, over 50 years ago. That is, until we tried...Pizza Siciliano. They *know* how to make -- and serve -- pizzas. Thin crust, right amount of cheese and tomato. The toppings, in this case mushrooms and zucchini, are fresh. This time, (our second) we added anchovies to half of the pizza. They didn't smother it in anchovies, nor did they stint. It was the exact right amount. They automatically serve it with hot pepper flakes and oregano, which many Israeli so-called pizza places don't (some don't even know what you're talking about when you ask.) It's a small place, with wooden tables indoors and out. One immediately feels at home; the staff is personable, friendly and helpful. Decorations are cute, e.g. A pizza paddle re-figured as a clock, painted in the Italian colors. But the emphasis is on the food.
Now, we eat there whenever we can. Highly recommended.More
I was very happy to eat this pizza with my family. We really loved the four seasons pizza (sans olives). This pizza pleased our family so much that we went back a second time during our stay in Rosh Pina! I would recommend it as...it really is quite good and a very solid options for staying in Rosh Pina. Just be aware of the troublesome parking. All in all, definitely stop by if you are in the area and enjoy a good pizza pie!More
