Great service, food was insanely good and was served promptly. I had the polenta for a starter, entrecôte as main, and lemon tart for desert. My GF had the fettuccini as main and that was out of this world! Super tasty and full of flavour!...Coffee is also very good! Overall everything feels as if it is made with a genuine sense of care and love for food. Chilled atmosphere and very welcoming. Everything was 5 stars! All round one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Israel.More

Calling up to the restuarant I wanted to reserve a table for 9:30. I instantly got a short lecture about how if I was late they wouldn't set us up a table. Agressive and uncalled for, by the manager. My GF and I got there...at 9 to be sure that everything would be ok. There was a nice romantic atmosphere that was great. We were ready for a great meal. The appetizers were fine, decent risotto but main course of lamb chops was served cold and hard to cut. Not tasty at all. It was also extremely expensive, similar to great restuarants in Tel Aviv at above 150 shekel for the meat. Now I'm happy to pay this price, but I expect it to be good. It wasn't tasty at all. Just subpar, chewy and cold. We each took a few bites and gave up, then we sent the order back to the kitchen and ordered dessert. Delicious lemon pie. We were happy overall even though the meat was sub-par. When we got the bill I requested that they remove the lamb chops and again got an aggressive lecture from the boss. He literally told me that *maybe I was the problem and not the food*. This was extremely uncalled for. First time someone yelled at me in such a way at a restaurant. Honestly didnt want to write a bad review but I feel bad for the people that will be stuck in similar situations to us. This owner is not ok. I would recommend finding another place to eat even if it has lower reviews. This place isn't good please dont let the numbers fool you.More

Look no further. For a fairly priced 5-star meal, excellent hospitality, beautiful view...this is where you want to have a very memorable dinner. Chef/owner Moizy (sp) outdid himself with the veal carpaccio; the sea bream with delicately spiced lemon/caper sauce was to die for. The...pineapple/passion flower/mango sorbet cannit be bested. What a meal. Special kudos to Moizy's daughter Elianne who was the best server ever.More

We wne to the restaurant yesterday with the whole family and we’re dissapointed by the quality of their well known dishes . The high price didn’t reflect the poor quality unfortunately ...

Reminding us of the sort of family run restaurant to be found in a rural location off a main road in France The food was very good and we enjoyed the service. Mid-evening, owner/chef Moshe, came around the tables and introduced himself and made us...feel welcomed and valued.More

We arrived in Rosh Pina late on a Friday in July and were referred to this restaurant as the only place we could get a table. After four days in Jerusalem, we were a little spoiled, but we found this restaurant to be mediocre and...somewhat overpriced. Lamb chops were tough and tasteless and we wondered if the sea bass was really sea bass. There are many waiters but they are certainly not trained to the level of a "world class" "French" restaurant. We did appreciate the fact that they seated us without a reservation, but wished that we had waited an hour and gotten a table at a less fancy but more flavorful place.More

Cold disinterested reception. 10 minutes until menu presented. Ordered the 220 gram fillet and the lamb chops. House bread was doughy. Three lamb chops served with tasteless potato puree. Each chop was of different size and wellness. One well done one medium one medium rare....Fillet had strange aftertaste and was cold. Service, never asked once how the dishes where. After reminding the staff of our drink orders they arrived only with the mains. Dessert was vanilla ice cream with esspreso shot. Served together so by the time we received it most of the icecream was melted. No extra spoons to share but that was unfortunately no big loss. For this disappointing meal with disinterested/apathetic service we paid 550 shekels for two people (appx 70 dollars per person!) After paying, met the owner. Respectfully told him my constructive criticism. Seemed disinterested and said that the reason the chops came out differently was that they where different sizes. Lol blame the lamb or the butcher! Sad!!! Ate hear 9 years ago and then it was great. Not the same experience to say the least.More

High cuisine restaurant in Rosh Pina in the north of Israel. Specializes in smoked meats/fish but all their other dishes are delicious as well. Unlike a lot of other expensive restaurants in Israel, the service is excellent, the staff know their stuff. Beautifully located in...classic old Rosh Pina stule building.More

Three of us visited on a hot June evening and sat inside. As we were the only people there they adjusted the air conditioning to suit us. Delightful young waiters who spoke good English and had a pleasant manner. We started with a mixed green...salad that included melon and walnuts and dressing, soup and fresh bread with dips. All delicious. Then a sorbet, fresh mango , an unexpected treat. Two of us had fish, lovely and fresh and one chicken dish. Well cooked and pretty presentation. Finally a tarte tartin to share. Fresh pasty and well cooked apples served with vanilla ice cream. A really lovely place that I would really recommend.More
