The food and service are ok. Not special but good enough and located at the start of the old town. Alcohol (a beer) is rather expensive. You can beter go to Simsim.

This restaurant was recommended in my Lonely Planet Israel guide book, as well as by the owners of our guesthouse, and it did not disappoint. We went for lunch, and then later in the evening when the kids were too tired from the day's activities to eat at another restaurant, my husband went out by himself to find something for... More

Really ? Number # 1? No way. Expensive and simple food, terrible service. Fusion food, no way. Half of the place was empty all the time. We was there with a big group 12+ and they want to acomódate us in a table for 8. They denied to give us another table for 4, they argumentes are completely full; until... More

We got here because of recomendations from our great accomodation - Alexandra House, and also the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Both were right - this is a really good restaurant, with great service and a warm ambiance. The place is full on weekends so it is best to reserve a place if going then.

The atmosphere is perfect. Service warm, efficient, caring and the three gals who served us spoke English perfectly. Every dish was unique and delicious. Grilled stuffed eggplant is divine, chicken with coffee plum sauce so unique and well balanced with a good price blend. Pita with hummus no beef was a tasty addition to everything. We had a surprising dessert... More

We were a three generation family group for dinner. The food was good, although not all of our order got to the table (it made it onto the bill though) and an extraordinary exchange with a rude waitress about bringing bread (or not...). To be fair, another server then took over, and she was great, but this first one really... More

Had dinner. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was kind. We had a lovely evening there. The restaurant itself is beautiful and keeping the traditional city spirit.

Tishreen restaurant is fantastic restaurant, the best in Nazareth, and at par with world standards. Every thing was delicious and priced very reasonable for Israel (Israel being world ripp off champion when it comes to food value). The filet steak with tequila sauce ws superb. So was the chuchen filet in cofee and plum sauce. The house chocktail was cheap... More

Description
Named after the month it was opened in 2004 ( tishreen is Arabic for October) this sophisticated restaurant has an autumnal atmosphere with its straw-encrusted walls lined with antiques and wine bottles. Locals enjoying long lunches and late dinners order Mediterranean-inspired dishes from the mosaic-tiled wood oven which turns out 'aborigine (aubergine) stuffed with pesto and cheese' as well as excellent muhammar , an Arabic pizza topped with chicken and onion slices
