This cafe is a bit dated, service is was slow. Although we were the only customers, it took almost 30 minutes for the pineapple pancake to be served. It tasted ok.

The best Beef Rendang I have had anywhere in Indonesia or Malaysia was here. Make sure it's on the menu the night you go!

We had the pleasure of dining here during our stay in Bukittinggi. Luckily the rendang was available and it was so good! Also, the very nice host suggested i would order a pineapple juice and i decided to follow this advice: good choice! The juice consisted only of fresh pineapple and it was absolutely delicious:) All in all very nice... More

This popular place is quiet & relaxing for early morning breakfast. Serves standard local dishes like ketupat gulai, mie rebus & nasi goreng. Delicious and modestly priced. This may be the best place to start your day at 7.30 in the morning.

Went twice to this cafe. First time only iced tea - very nice. Second time for dinner - good beef in sweetsour sauce and giod gado gado. You can get it cheaper but this is just a nice place to sit. Beer is somewhat expensive.

We stopped for a drink and some food. Got a table outside, quite comfortable. Ordered a couple of beers and were told the restaurant had ran out of beer completely... so we ordered fruit juice in stead. Half an hour later we noticed other guests with bottles of Bintang. Obviously someone went to the local supermarket, as they were still... More

We really enjoyed our time in Turret Café! The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We ordered the saté and the rendang, which was very delicious. Harry from the staff even helped us out with advice on the best ways to get from Bukittingi to Parapat, Lake Toba. Definitely a nice place to eat and hang!

Anita was really kind. She prepared us some great food during Ramadan Holiday. She put it in Tupperware as my Son was sick in bed. Delicious food and very friendly and helpful.
