Good tasting fresh food prepared by dedicated young locals. Profits from this establishment all go to provide free health care for the less fortunate. It's good to know eating here helps in some small way. It's a busy place so reservations will be helpful.

We walked in at 10pm one evening, the manager/staff member was very sarcastic with his reply and said they're closing (although on the site it states 11pm!) So we emailed to book for the next day - no one emailed back. We walked in and asked for a tables the next day - the owner was again extremely rude! Very... More

We ordered the tuna balsamico and mahi mahi red chilli and it was lovely. Big chunks of fish topped with tomato and basil. The mahi was really spicy with the small Indonesian chilli.the fruit juices were fresh. The chocopie was awesome. Prices slightly on the higher side bit I guess it is for the cause.

We went to Fair Warung Bale on our first day in Ubud and weren't disappointed. The food was tasty and well presented. Prices were good and service prompt. If you want good food for a reasonable price, check this place out. All proceeds go to help provide medical and education services to those in need.

we were delighted to meet Alex, paediatric surgeon and founder of the association providing healthcare to people in need in Bali. Amused by the quality of food they serve. Local kitchen at its best. Can't recommend enough.

You will have to book in advance if you want a table. The idea behind this Warung's philosophy is genuine and knowing that I helped in a small way makes me want to go back again. Basically it's 100% of their profits go towards free medical care for those in need in Indonesia. Their website explains it better than I... More
