Went there for a quick lunch with a group of friends that I was travelling with. We ordered some Mee Gorengs (fried noodles), Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Ayam Goreng (crispy chicken), Gado-Gado (indonesian salad with peanut sauce), and some fresh fruit juice. Service was fast and food was good at a fair price.

It was our fifth trip to Bali to Bali and we enjoy Balinese food so much that , at home in Thailand , we often make Gado Gado, Ayam Bakar ,Bebek Betutu ,etc. Before going to Ubud we studied the Trip Advisor reviews. Many were favourable to D’Waroeng . We ate there on two occasions. It’s situated on the southern... More

had a selection of things with my family. the stand out meal was the tapas but it was 110000idr. prawns were small, spicy sambal not spicy. only westerners in there...too expensive and dumbed down for locals maybe. beer was well priced at 3.5k large bintang. may have been an off night. Our meals came to 40k+ for the 4 of us,... More

Came with a friend with the plan of 2 more friends arriving later. My 2 friends got lost and I left to go find them. When I came back with them, my food STILL hadn't arrived. I waited almost a solid hour for my fish and rice to come. When they brought my fish, my 2 friends ordered coke's, but... More

The food is remarkable. I had a fresh laksa and the best ginger tea. The fresh juices are amazing. Yes it could be a little cleaner but seriously, it's yummy and the kitchen is clean. I had a peak. The owner is such a great guy and I will eat here several times a week.

We ate at d'waroeng many times during our stay in ubud. We were never disappointed in the food. Their Balinese tapas was a great assortment (only about 3.5 = about $3.50 aud) and their banana crepe was so mouthwatering! The people serving were very kind and generous. Nice outdoor area outback too.

Tax was added although no mention on the menu. A pork dish was 45k and a chicken leg for 60k. The tuna was 65k. Soap 20. That's actually expensive in Bali where the same food is usually half that price. Now if 115k for two dishes seems cheap, than this is a great place for you. The seating is in... More
