Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are coming here regularly because we enjoy the delicious and healthy organic food at a very fair price level. The service as mentioned from others is not the best indeed, but at the end the price and quality you get here makes it more...than worth.More

Everything seemed perfect during my visit. But lots of things still can be improved like their service. The service staff mostly just take my order and stand by the corner. I believe it needs more of personal touch. The green juice was nice but need...more vegetables concentratedMore

The breakfast at Bali Budha was a culinary delight with fresh and excellent food. However, the service fell short with noisy and less attentive staff, lacking a personal touch. The atmosphere was generally good, but the overall experience was affected by the disruptive behavior of...the service staff. Improving service quality and maintaining a tranquil environment could significantly enhance the breakfast experience for guests.More

Nice spot, nice food - but reason average in my mind is that you can get much better elsewhere. If you are after bulk wholefood - then maybe - small selection - good quality fresh vege. Lovely bakery goods. I had a chicken pesto wrap...which was nice - but ones I have seen/had elsewhere better (can't mention any names but is an Ubud institution). Staff okay - but not your usual friendly you get in smaller places/warung. Is air conditioned if you like that. Nothing wrong with it - but nothing making me itch to go back.More

Ubud and Bali Buda never cease to impress. Ubud continues to be the energized find-yourself town you'll ever find. Buda is top shelf for everything nourishing that needs to be digested. BEST smoothies and food anywhere. #mustgo and #musttry That said, would be nice if...people or customers as spiritual and holistic as they feel, have some civility please. This was one person in 3 at the time who thought the restaurant was his sofa at home!More

Honestly, go somewhere else for somewhere with more flavour/passion in the food and a more querky environment. We have been coming to bali Buda every visit to bali for 12 years and this is the most recent since they moved slightly from the old location...and it feels like it (the cafe) has lost its magic, which is a shame as I love the philosophy behind the place. We had the chicken burger in charcoal bun and it was bland and bun was slightly stale/dry, had to ask for the dressings to go with the salad with the burger as staff didn't remember to bring these out. Burger chicken pattie was tough and bland/lacked seasoning. The miso soup was average too. The fresh pasta and pesto was the best of the lot but that's not exactly rocket science. Ubud is renound for its food and we came here hoping to have similar experience to the last time we were here. The food disappointed and the atmosphere is now more supermarket than ubud. Bali Buda will need to up its game. Feedback given to staff that food was bit meh and they were disinterested in my feedback and didn't want to engage. Lovely smiley & friendly staff, but that's everywhere in Bali. Sorry but we won't be back.More

Fantastic food, really well presented and super fresh. This is a chilled establishment away from the throng of the Main Street. It is a Ubud institution and deservedly so - we dropped in for a late lunch and would happily head back there any time...- tasty ,healthy and cool !More

I got the falafel wrap which they use red rice for the wrap instead of gluten and grains. It had beet humus and a sauce on the side super good and filling. Not out of this world flavors but super good for a more filling...meal. I had a smoothie with almond butter and dates. It was amazing and had actual dates in the bottom. They have a store right around the corner with healthy stuff and peanut butter balls which are my favorite thing ever! Definitely come here if your in Ubud for a long period of time.More

I ordered Gourmet Burger, and I choosed low carb bun. They don't know low carb bun is something EXISTING thing, so they gave my food without bun. I waited 70 mins for my order as well. I sent them message, but they still don't understand...the problem. Incapable staff, horrible service for a high price! Avoid it!More

During our stay in Ubud we went twice to Bali Buda for dinner. The food was tasty and made only from fresh, organic and local products, same goes for the drinks. Portions were a bit small so if you're a big eater, you'll definitely want...to get 3 courses or some extra side dishes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from Indonesian to international cuisine. They offer a nice variety of organic house tea's. Unfortunately they were out if stock at 7pm on our second visit. We'd recommend going early. The place is nice with a relaxing atmosphere.More

Best coffee I've had so far in Bali! So many great options, especially for vegos. Love all the info they have in their menu about why they came about and all the great things they do for the environment. They also have a great whole...foods type shop nearby.More

We’ve been here a few times & this time unfortunately, our cooked breakfast was very dry & cold. Coffee was nice. We ended having two! Pricing was very fair. Also, their EFTPOS machine wasn’t working & they let me leave without paying as I had...no cash on me. I returned 6 hours later & paid the bill. Thank you! Service was fast although they were very quiet. However, I wish they’d get rid of the filthy newspaper style menus. Hard to recommend this place now, as in the past the cooked food was definitely better.More

I used to rate Bali Buda really highly but something has happened to portion size and a difference between expectation and what was. I was hanging out for a good salad that included some sort of whole grain. The ancient grain salad with kale, broccoli,...avo, and beans sounded great. There were no grains to be found, a tiny amount of kale in a lot of salad leaves, a couple pieces of broccoli with 2 tiny portions of avo. I asked where the whole grain was and the lovely young man serving said there was quinoa sprinkled on top. The slice of brown bread as a side was toasted, dry and lightweight! The service was great but food disappointing! The same could be said for breakfast another morning. Overall it was disappointing and for good healthy food I will stick to Kafe and Chandra cafe in Radiantly Alive across the road.More
