I think your food guys is a bit overpriced for what you get.
We were a table of 4.
My avocado toast was quite disappointing.
Small. 1 slice of bread, quite dry, as not enough avocado over.
Cheese was mentioned amongst ingredients but almost no cheese, 2 crumbs, and even tho I asked for more, I didn't get it ( poor customer service, you gotta satisfy your customers no matter what ).
My friend's plates weren't more exciting than mine to be honest.
Food is expensive and a bit boring.
Advice : make generous dishes for the price you're asking, and don't try to save on certain ingredients, it just gives disappointing experience.

We’ve been here a few times & this time unfortunately, our cooked breakfast was very dry & cold.
Coffee was nice. We ended having two!
Pricing was very fair. Also, their EFTPOS machine wasn’t working & they let me leave without paying as I had no cash on me. I returned 6 hours later & paid the bill. Thank you!
Service was fast although they were very quiet. However, I wish they’d get rid of the filthy newspaper style menus.
Hard to recommend this place now, as in the past the cooked food was definitely better.

First time we tried Bali Buda in Ubud and the quality of food and service is as good as in their other restaurants. We love their Soto Ayam Baru and of course their Jamu. The place is super cozy especially before sunset when soft rays of sunshine coming in from the side

Absolutely awful. They won’t care, they’re on a tourist trek so they’ll still have idiot customers like me who wander in off the street. Staff pay no attention, my burger was shocking. ‘Gourmet Burger’, the bread was literally stale. I ate the dry chicken inside because I couldn’t get a staff members attention. To take the whole thing away. When I mentioned t he bread and she saw I’d left it on t he plate I did get a whole 30% discount which was meaningless as I didn’t enjoy the dry chicken either.

The service was poor, very slow, could not get anyone's attention for over 5 minutes. Also, we ordered a chicken breast as a side, pointing to it on the sides menu. We were not aware that they had chicken breast as a main item as well. It came to us as a main. When I explained to the staff what had happened, they told us that it was our mistake not telling them it was to be ordered as a side. Do I look like an employee at the restaurant to you? I didn't even know it was available as a main. I don't mind a restaurant making mistakes (we are all human), but to be blamed for something that wasn't my fault just doesn't sit right with me. It took me TWO times of asking before they would take it back and take the cost out of our bill.
The food alright, however both my boyfriend and I got a pretty terrible stomachache afterwards.
Definitely would not recommend.

Well, what to say. The girls face from the table across said it all... Staff were not very friendly and the food was, um, interesting. The pizza tasted like it was left in the oven from the previous day, then washed off in the sink, then decorated with tin food. Even the drinks tasted poor. However, the tacos were edible. If you like chilling on the couch then this place is cool. Overall pretty disappointed, will not return.

First of all this is the only place where i saw non smiling staff. They welcome you as you are not really welcome. They don't want to help with the menu and they give you hard time if you ask for an extra plate. Also food was ok but worse than we expected. Because this place claims to be the best in bali for vegeterians. Anyhow everyone has their opinions and experience. Ours was not so good especially the attitude of the staff was disturbing and unwelcoming.

I used to rate Bali Buda really highly but something has happened to portion size and a difference between expectation and what was. I was hanging out for a good salad that included some sort of whole grain. The ancient grain salad with kale, broccoli, avo, and beans sounded great. There were no grains to be found, a tiny amount of kale in a lot of salad leaves, a couple pieces of broccoli with 2 tiny portions of avo. I asked where the whole grain was and the lovely young man serving said there was quinoa sprinkled on top. The slice of brown bread as a side was toasted, dry and lightweight! The service was great but food disappointing! The same could be said for breakfast another morning. Overall it was disappointing and for good healthy food I will stick to Kafe and Chandra cafe in Radiantly Alive across the road.

I ordered Gourmet Burger, and I choosed low carb bun. They don't know low carb bun is something EXISTING thing, so they gave my food without bun. I waited 70 mins for my order as well. I sent them message, but they still don't understand the problem. Incapable staff, horrible service for a high price! Avoid it!

Nice restaurant with huge involvement in saving the enviroment, zero waste etc. Appreciate this eco friendly concept.
Food was very good, big portions, water is for free. But little dissapointed by the service and tax fee 5+10%, couldn’t understand why it’s not included in prices already. They don’t have any alcohol including beer. Prices as in other “fancy” cafes.

I'm not a vegan but I really liked food and drinks here. Miso soup was good, cheese samosa, and breakfast with beef strips. Bulletproof coffee was great as well. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

Honestly, go somewhere else for somewhere with more flavour/passion in the food and a more querky environment.
We have been coming to bali Buda every visit to bali for 12 years and this is the most recent since they moved slightly from the old location and it feels like it (the cafe) has lost its magic, which is a shame as I love the philosophy behind the place.
We had the chicken burger in charcoal bun and it was bland and bun was slightly stale/dry, had to ask for the dressings to go with the salad with the burger as staff didn't remember to bring these out. Burger chicken pattie was tough and bland/lacked seasoning. The miso soup was average too. The fresh pasta and pesto was the best of the lot but that's not exactly rocket science.
Ubud is renound for its food and we came here hoping to have similar experience to the last time we were here. The food disappointed and the atmosphere is now more supermarket than ubud.
Bali Buda will need to up its game.
Feedback given to staff that food was bit meh and they were disinterested in my feedback and didn't want to engage.
Lovely smiley & friendly staff, but that's everywhere in Bali.
Sorry but we won't be back.

The breakfast at Bali Budha was a culinary delight with fresh and excellent food. However, the service fell short with noisy and less attentive staff, lacking a personal touch. The atmosphere was generally good, but the overall experience was affected by the disruptive behavior of the service staff. Improving service quality and maintaining a tranquil environment could significantly enhance the breakfast experience for guests.

During our stay in Ubud we went twice to Bali Buda for dinner.
The food was tasty and made only from fresh, organic and local products, same goes for the drinks. Portions were a bit small so if you're a big eater, you'll definitely want to get 3 courses or some extra side dishes.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from Indonesian to international cuisine.
They offer a nice variety of organic house tea's. Unfortunately they were out if stock at 7pm on our second visit.
We'd recommend going early. The place is nice with a relaxing atmosphere.

Wow, when I just entered, I was greeted warmly by the staff, they are very friendly, especially with the smell of the room being so cool😍 there are many types of fruit and vegetables that are so fresh, they all seem to be organic, and the delicious cakes made me interested, especially all kinds of snacks."
The restaurant also exceeded my expectations, the food was organic, everything was the best place I've ever visited, the place was comfortable, especially with the service being very thorough and the food was extraordinarily delicious, plus a variety of my favorite juices and very fresh and healthy.
I really like it😍😍
