Unfortunately, like other similar places on the beach in Jimbaran you will pay a lot for disappointing food. They claim 1.8$ for 100 grams of any fish. However, you are not allowed to get pieces and you have to choose hole fish of 2 KG. Anyways consider 50$ per person minimum. Quality is really poor for the price you pay!... More

I ordered a set menu a (containing 4 prawn+1 crab) for 85.000 (around usd 7) seemed like a good deal. Average food. After the bill came to me it stated 850.000 And they showed me the menu. Guys dont fall in this trap just go and enjoy the sunset. Dont take any food

Our hotel recommended us this place to have some seafood so we went without checking price and comments. What a mistake! The view is great because you're on Jimbaran Beach but this is the only positive point. The fish and seafood are really expensive and not that good. Moreover, the portions are poor. At the end, we received the bill... More

Now I have to start by pointing out how stupid I consider people who give terrible reviews because 'it is not Aussie standard' or who find everything 'too expensive' First of all, this is a cafe, not a restaurant , for the seafood they pretty much charge market prices, and of course it is not ' Australian standard' and maybe... We were doubtful but had to try for the view. Well, we had it all, and returned a second night to the same restaurant, Matahari--first one on the left coming from the south, in a row of restaurants--to enjoy a sunset dinner, and that was truly a magical evening. The owner Katut (like in Eat, Pray, Love!) is such a... More

It was my first time to have foods on the beach with table and chair and great view of beach with sunset, you can choice any seafood and tell them how to cook with it. We had squid deep-fry, butter/garlic prawn and a boiling water of crab with rice it was delicious foods with cocktails. Best night we had.

My wife and I were seated on the beach with a wonderful view of the sunset. We ordered a seafood dish to share - it was expensive compared to normal Bali prices but as it was our last night of holidays we decided to treat ourselves. The service was attentive and the food arrived. How disappointing. Some of the seafood... More

I agree with all the other reviews - absolute tourist trap - way more expensive & way lower quality than in Australia!! Don't let drivers just take you there - do your homework!!

the view was pretty, however it was ruined by the price we had to pay for the food. Very expensive compared to the other restaurants along jimbaran bay. service was slow even when they didnt have a full house. There are random musicians who would play right infront of you but will demand for tips afterwards. If you like that... More

Visited for sun set and enjoyed our visit. The sunset was beautiful and it's a great beach. We had the mixed seafood platter which was cooked very well and tasted great but 2 beers set us back 100IRD meaning this is nearly double the price w head paid elsewhere. Having said that would I do it again - yes!
