My partner and i stopover this restaurant while on the way to Denpasar from Ubud. The variety of food was simply excellent that one could be spoilt for choice. The taste was very authentic. Proper restaurant - very neat and clean with prayer facility for Muslims. If you love padang cuisine mild spiciness, this would be just the right place.

Wanting to taste the food outside of a hotel. We came here after exchanging money from across the road. Great exchange rate, better than the hotel. Food was very honest, so was the service and restaurant only had 1 menu but we enjoyed the experience. We paid a fraction of what we would of at the hotel and we saw... More

Nice Padang food, not too spicy for Westerners, all the favorite Padang dishes were laid on the table. Very clean place, with some nice artefacts displayed and possibility to make nice pictures of Minang wedding.

Minangkabau cuisine (usually know as Padang, the capital of the province) has long been one of the best in Indonesia. Now many small towns and even some villages in Bali have a restaurant or food stall. An interesting feature is that the recipes and menus are surprisingly similar from place to place, but quality of the cooking varies greatly. As... More

When you sit down to the table the waiter stars bringing out the dishes to sample. You only pay for what you eat and there's a good bit to choose from. It is a little pricier that other places around town, but you'll be able to sample a lot of dishes that you might otherwise pass up. It's a good... More

Loved their ayam gulay, their sapi rendang could have been more tender, but still you won't get any better rendang in the neighbourhood... Oh, and about the price, most tourist restaurants are more expensive. Of course this is padang style, so the food is pre-cooked (cold) and you pay for the plates you touch....

Expensive food selection is you prefer to eat in any restaurants in Bali. Be prepared for an average of usd10 per pax per meal. Price per plate is around usd3 (chicken/meat) and usd1 for veg.
