Savage garden has a great atmosphere, all white on 4 Floors. The 3rd floor is intimate, you feel a little like in Greece. The food was so-so though. The aubergines as starter where really good but the dish was very small for 160 roupies. The lamb raviolis were very good (but very expensive!) and the arrabiata tagliatelle were overcooked, and... Having done lots of research for our vacation to Udaipur I came across this name. What excited me the most was the menu and the name.So we decided to look for this place. To be precise it is very difficult to find it as they have moved to a new location. The road which leads to this place is very... More

This restaurant is a little out of the way and hard to find but worth the effort. We had the chicken special and it was very well prepared and tasty. The service was excellent. The only drawback was that it isn't air conditioned and we were there in April and it was very warm. But I would still highly recommend... More

Location of savage garden is right in the centre of the city and there's a narrow lane with a typical traditional door leading to this cafe and when you enter this place you are greeted by fresh pink bougainvillea with a backdrop of indigo wall and light filtering through the tree. It looks surreal and sets the ambience just perfect.... More

This place is incredible, we ordered the special chicken which was like nothing I've ever tasted and the goat ravioli, washed down with a lovely bottle of Sula shiraz. If you can't find it just ask for directions, it's ambient, friendly and has some of the most interesting food I've had. Don't be put off when you first arrive and... More

Savage Garden is a nice looking restaurant tucked away in a back alley. Service was very good, menu looked exciting with plenty of non Indian dishes. Our group had a Falafels ,Pasta and the special chicken dish . The falafel came with no hommus, the pastas were bland but the "special chicken" was good. Maybe they need a recipe book... More

As others have written you need to ask around a little bit and pay attention to the signs to find this restaurant as it's on a small street but it's well worth it and really isn't difficult - the people we asked along the way were happy to help. The decor and layout is very charming and beautiful - there... More

Friends took me here and cannot fault it. The food was lovely (paneer makhani) and reasonably priced. Lovely little terraces to sit out on too.

This restaurant has moved and is a bit tucked away. Follow signs and ask locals. Worth finding, friendly staff and yummy simple dishes with fresh ingredients.
