A simple meal of BBQ and fixens, but delicious, Amazing how they can serve that many folks in such a short time. It's certainly great family entertainment for kids and granny too! Gun fights at the O.K. corral and dinner on the ground. What could...More

This place is a great way for the family to spend the evening. Kids get to ride horses, learn to shoot pistols, learn to rope and pan for gold. Older folks get to enjoy the shoot out, food and music. The meal is an old...More

What an amazing evening. My 2 boys (5 & 8) loved the kids activities and the shootout. The chuck wagon dinner was delicious and the western band was simply amazing. Most importantly, it is run by genuinely good people who treat every guest like a...More

While in Ruidoso for the weekend we decided to go to the Flying J Chuckwagon dinner/show. We had done this years ago and enjoyed the evening, so opted for the chuckwagon dinner and show for something different than dinner in a restaurant in town. Dinner...More

A step back in time. So family friendly and the chuck wagon supper is great. If you have young children or even teenagers, they will love it!

It took us about 15 minutes to walk through the shops and exhibits... if you have kids it would take longer... much more oriented to families than couples. But the weather was nice and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They really do feed 600...More

They do not take reservations. Just call them to see what hours they open and get there early.

We are located at an altitude of 7200 feet and we are open in the evening so we don't have a need for air conditioning. In fact most people bring along la light jacket because these mountain evenings can get cool.

For over 30 years, folks have been stepping back into the legendary era of the Great American Cowboy at the Flying J Ranch. We invite you to experience an evening of great chuck wagon cooking and western music much like cowboys would have enjoyed after a long day on the trail. Enjoy the Western Village, complete with gift shops, pony rides for kids, tipi, and even a gunfight before supper. All this followed up with a fantastic and fun Western Music Stage show featuring the Flying J Wranglers.
