After long hours of discussion about the eating outlets, finally our gang zeroed on VV puram food street. We were lucky to get the parking and it was not over crowded. This was my first visit here. Since we were hungry and all experienced eaters suggested we went to Vasavi chutnis. They had amazing varieties of south indian food. We... More

I'm sure most of us as children hated this vegetable. But today I was lucky to witness the most amazing variety of eats using this unassuming vegetable. What a range ..from dosas to halwas to kheer to chikki to uniappam to roti and what not.....Even Jalebis. Each and everyone who had come there on Makar Sankaranti/Pongal morning were enjoying the... This place has lost its authenticity..lost its food, lost its taste.. dosa's used to be so crispy , chutney's used to so yummy, idlies used to be so pluffy...its no longer the case. People who are new to Bangalore might find this place interesting..but it not to people who have been eating in this place for past 10-15 years.. Go... More

Variety of food available, you have to jostle for space. They could make this an awesome experience, BBMP must make an effort to make this a Heritage experience. Lovely old Temples in the place, a walk around and then feasting on street food, would make this an unforgettable experience.
