The service was good, or I'd have rated it lower.
I had the chicken fried steak sandwich. The portion was a little skimpy and extremely tough - you couldn't bite through it, you had to tear it apart. The accompanying fries were merely OK.
First thing out was a basic salad with browning lettuce...not a good start. The food was average at best. Poorly seasoned veggies and the fries tasted like they were frozen not fresh. The gravy was lukewarm. I will say that the raspberry tea was good....More

The food is home made goodness! The staff is friendly, great atmosphere! The waitress was new and apologized for the not knowing the menu but she had no reason to be sorry! She did great and we had a large party!
