Loved the chicken fried steak with green chile. A must stop for Alamo's best breakfast -- worth the wait!

Enjoyed the menu with lots of variety. Coffee was hot and served with a smile. Seemed to be lots of local folks there.

I ordered Oatmeal and got instant that was way runny. Thought it was a Real breakfast place. Looking at the bill it showed $2 for a glass of water and the owner wondered why my tip was so small. I know it wasn't the waitresses fault.

Great breakfast but our waitress was the most fun part. She loved to interact with the customers and was a wealth of information. We were headed to Three Rivers and she told us all about the owners of the gift shop at the intersection leading to Three Rivers. She kept up the banter and served us well.

Another hidden gem, would drive past if you didn't know to look out for it. Car park was packed and so was the restaurant, although we were there on a Saturday morning. The food was good, the wait was about 10 minutes and worth it. Good menu lots of choice. Lovely friendly staff and greeters. Thanks Trip Advisor for the... More

Busy place. It was packed but a couple moved to a table for 2 so we could be seated. Had the breakfast burrito with jalapeno salsa. To die for. I still have enough for 2 more meals! Really reasonable prices. My hubby had biscuits& gravy for $3.60.

The menu is average, the food quality is okie, the service is good. It's just not very memorable. I was hoping for more speciality pancakes and was not expanding just different toppings.

This place is always packed. Fair prices and decent service. I eat breakfast here every time I'm in town. Cinnamon rolls are good.

Not only is the food great but the owners and staff are down home friendly! From the super fresh hash browns to delicious pancakes and waffles, my wife's favorite is the strawberry, you can find your perfect breakfast. Excellent huevos rancheros and a broad selection of Mexican and Anglo foods round out a sound menu. Expect locals and a few... More
