The restaurant was very close to our hotel by thinking it would provide us tasty south Indian food, however, was not up-to the mark.

After disappointment with annaporna and blue sea restaurant, I decided to try this pure veg restaurant. I ordered two masala dosas and one tomato utthapam. Sambar was cold and chitneys were not tasty. Overall taste of sambar and chutney was so and so. Hotel SARASWATHI, lambaline is strongly recommended for authentic south indian dishes at very low prices.

If you want to sample some south Indian food in Port Blair head straight to this place. The idli-dosa staple here is great. The place is crammed though and there is constant footfall so prepare to be jostled around while eating.

The hotel is right in the middle of the market, small place for a quick eat. They serve authentic south Indian food Possibly the tastiest in the islands clean and fresh preparation If you reach late the stuff may finish.( we reached at 1030 and did not get any idly or vada)

You get very good south Indian Veg food here, including meals, dosas, idlis, vada, etc. But, the space is very small & can house only around 20 people. Non-AC but much more affordable and tastier than Annapurna
