The food and service were both great. My husband and I visited while staying at the manava hotel. The restaurant was within walking distance. We loved the foie gras appetizer. It was our favorite of the night. The portions were good. We couldn't finish (even though we wanted to). Highly recommend!

A great buzz to this place. Good selection of food, extensive menu great location and really nice staff. The lady who owned it took the time to write down all the best things to do. My dinner was great. I left there pleasantly full, pleasantly merry and happy that I went. Highly recommend coming here.

Love the restaurant and recommend it to everyone who visits. On the water with a huge menu that never disappoints and always a tonne of atmosphere. Perhaps the most upbeat trendiest restaurant on Tahiti

We attempted to have a lunch here on the waterfront. However, their hours are strict and required a reservation. We came in at 11am, however they don't serve food until noon. Also, the reservation list was booked until 2pm. We did not eat here, and the hostess was difficult to communicate with because they only spoke French.

Shrimp fajitas were fair. My husband had the tuna which he loved. The staff explained the menu in English. The food arrived quickly but the dessert took 25 min. It was a 7 min taxi from the Intercontinental.

A very popular gathering spot for lunch or dinner, the Blue Banana has recently tastefully redecorated. Open to the breeze and the view over the lagoon to the island of Moorea, the menue is interesting and good. The prices are average to high. Be sure to reserve. The best tables are on the outside covered deck. Inside, the conversation noise... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel the night we arrived in Tahiti, last minute booking. Really great atmosphere, quite big inside. Not as many non-seafood options (but this is the same everywhere in Tahiti) - we chose the 400g steak and could not finish it, despite wanting to. Cooked perfectly and incredible taste. Good value for what... More

Beautiful location on the sea front, friendly and helpful waiting staff and really lovely food. The 'Trio Tartare Du Thon' and the 'Creme Brulee' are not to be missed. Definitely recommend it!

We ate at the Blue Banana twice and would have gone a third time, but they were closed on Christmas Eve. The food was great and the service as well. Meats were cooked perfectly and prices were reasonable. Totally recommended
