I just returned from Ecuador (1 Sep 16) after about three weeks exploring the beautiful country. Went to Salinas to be able to check the environment there and see about real estate possibilities. This restaurant has a nice face to it and it has a nice view - location is great - That"s where anything positive about this restaurant ends... More

We were driving through Salinas for the day and stopped in here for a beer and snack. We ended up eating lunch and it was a complete waste of our time and money. I ordered the camarones al ajillo, which came out to one very small shrimp per dollar ($9) and it was not well seasoned; my husband ordered the... More

Well overpriced for what you receive. My husband ordered arroz con camarón which was sloppy and tasteless and as for my king prawns in breadcrumbs (camarón reventado) I couldn't even finish them, they tasted earthy and not fresh. Fries were swimming in grease. Steer clear, there are much better places.

This restaurante has a wood boat decor outside and inside with tables overlooking the beach and malecon. The ambiance makes it nice for a date. The food we ordered was very good and my fish dish, corvina a la Genovesa was a nice change from the usual fried fish served at every single restaurant in town. It had creamy white... More

Sangria! I love ! Hear not so much. My urine has more etoh content. After that and the very very expensive food menu I decided to leave. Especially after seeing the reviews. Has wifi. But go elsewhere you wont be dissappointed

We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal and found this cool looking restaurant with the shape of a ship. Looked nice...but we were wrong. The service was awful. The waitor did not want to take the dirty sauce dish off our table but reluctantly did. When we asked to see the bottle of the house wine, the... More

the building itself is interesting as it's completely made of wood in the shape of a boat in a country where practically everything is made of concrete. The food was okay, nothing special. The prices are very high for the type of food and for Ecuador.

This restaurant draws you in because it looks like a ship from the outside and sits on the Malacon of Salinas. But the food prices are extremely high for Ecuador and the food is very so so. I ordered ceviche and nothing comes with it, except the bowl of ceviche. Then about half way through eating the ceviche, they brought... More

Food not terrible but my nominee for the most overpriced on the Malecon. The cool boat look and view get people in. Don't think they depend on repeat customers.
