Interesting setting. The street closes for the evening and all of the restaurants pour out into the street for a street food fest. There are many choices and this one was ours. Lobster was ordered many ways by our group and all said it was delicious. I had the fish with coconut and it was also yummy.

Don't know why it is rated so low. I love this place. Great local eats for cheap. The best part is the dinner time after sunset. The whole block is set up as outside eatery with fresh fish. We chose a $25 one grilled and it is probably three pounds or more. The two of us were completely stuffed and... More

Had a delicious grilled lobster dinner for $15 (I believe the lobster dinner is $15, $20 or $25 depending on the size of the lobster, freshly caught the same day). You get a plate with the lobster cut in half, and a 2nd plate with rice, small salad and fried plantain chips with spicy salsa.

I ate here almost 3 times a day and a few times in a week, because it was so cheap. The foods were delicious and there were a lot of options. Local eats here so you know this is a good place to eat. Lunch which typically includes rice and choice of meat (beef, chicken, fish) salad, and soup for... More

Small portion. Tuna was not fresh. Tasted dry & fishy. A mound of rice and 2 slices of overlooked dry plantain. Horrible. $10. Save yourself the time & money. I just finished dinner and I'm still hungry. Yuck.

We chose Kiosko de Renato's mainly because when we arrived in the section of the street where all the kiosks operate it was one of the more popular restaurants, and KF William was closed. We ordered spaghetti with shrimps and a whole grilled fish. My partner's spaghetti arrived after about 40 minutes; no sign of my fish, except the one... More

Many restaurants on the street that gets closed down and tables filled in the street. Lots of fresh seafood. I had shrimp/rice dish that was huge and also the best rice I have had in Ecuador. It is probably not the cleanest restaurant area to eat, so if you are a germaphobe you may want to go somewhere else. It... More

This place is a great choice for dinner. At night, they bring all of the tables out into the street and let you choose your own fish/lobster before they cook it. We really enjoyed the experience, and the food was some of the best we had in the area. Can't miss!

Renato's. They are located just off the corner of Av Baltra and Charles Binford. It's a street that comes alive at night with many little restaurants grilling various different types of food. Renato is actually the man at the grill and owner, a great fellow at that. This is definetly good food at a reasonable price. You can get a meal anywhere from $5.00 to a full lobster (when in season) for $25.00. Just visited there in mid October 2011. I believe the street is also referred to as the Kiosko. We also ate at some other restaurants in Puerto Ayora, but this one had a real adventurous and local feel.
