Visited Aboussan twice - once for lunch (when it was busy) and once in the evening (when it was quieter). Friendly welcome, good beer, good selection of Ivory Coast and Senagalese dishes. Credit cards accepted. You need to be able to speak french. Indoor decor is old carverd wood screens/furniture with carpet on the walls

I eat dinner at this restaurant in Abidjan. it is a very nice african restaurant with an assorted range of african food: fried yam, roasted chicken, guinea fowl pepper soup, lamb pepper soup, fried plantain (aloco), atieke etc. served with assorted fresh fruit juice and good french wine. The owner was very friendly and he constantly checked on us to... More

It should be the one of the best African restaurant in Abidjan which serves African food. If you are visiting this restaurant first time, you can understand from outside of the restaurant that this restaurant is the right one to have a dinner. Once you enter the restaurant you are sure you are in the right place. Very nice atmosphere,... More

I have eaten here a few times and i have always enjoyed it. It offers a good range of West African dishes, dominantly Ivoiran but also Senegalese so im told. Not much english spoken but the host is very friendly and hospitable. I would recommend if you want to try good quality l9cal food.

The meal was great - we shared a number of dishes as a table & all were delicious (I particularly recommend the Guineafowl). The owner was extremely friendly, showed us his amazing wine cellar and made good recommendations on the menu.

I was impressed with the beautiful interior of the restaurant, and the traditional fare on offer. The menus were all hand-drawn, giving it a very local flavor. The dishes on order were all variations of typical Ivoirian villages dishes with different meats. For instance, you could get the kedjenou sauce, which is a delightful tomato based sauce with chicken or... More

This is a good african restaurant, the dishes were really delicious. If you want to taste the local food this is the place. But the waiting time here is just too long even with a reservation. we have waited 20 min to get a table, another 15 min just to order and another 20 to have the plates in front... More
