We had dinner at Dock's to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We started with seafood tower. It was full of raw oysters & raw clams, shrimp cocktail, fresh crabmeat, lobster and shrimp. So fresh and delicious. We shared a salmon dinner and had fried oysters...also. Hubby said he never had oysters that large. The atmosphere was fun & lively. There are a lot of happy our specials. The staff goes above & beyond. Visiting Dock's will be a yearly tradition for us.More

Wonderful experience at Dock's Oyster House. Made our trip worth it after coming from Florida. We stayed at Harrah's which was another wonderful experience. We will be back to enjoy this fine restaurant.

My boyfriend and I headed down for a late (9pm) dinner after a workday for me. I got out of work late so I was stressing if we’d be late to our reservation, especially as it was the last seating. I texted the restaurant (they...had texted me earlier to confirm and offer an earlier seating) and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. As we entered the hostesses were more than friendly and welcoming, telling us now we’re here to relax and enjoy dinner and not to worry about anything. Our server (Raj?) was very kind and warm. There was a piano player on the other side of our booth. I’m not sure if it was a set he played or if he was taking requests. We started out our meal with two dirty martinis, which arrived rather quickly, and they were delicious. We sampled all of the raw oysters on the menu and these were wonderful - fresh, not gritty at all. We will definitely order more next time! Then we split a house salad which was very tasty, and shared a steak entree. I am so used to the a la carte type steakhouses the we frequent that it was refreshing to see a steak that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was definitely a reasonably priced dining experience for the quality of food. I wish we had room for dessert, but we did not. My boyfriend got an espresso however, which he said was good. Our server helped call us a cab since we weren’t sure if we could hail one easily from the location. Overall we felt they were very swift with service and the food coming out, and very attentive, but this could be in part that they were closing and wanted everyone out. We really enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to go back.More

I wanted to try some of the local seafood while in Atlantic City and found Docks in Trip Advisor and after seeing menu, I had to try. My girlfriend and I both know great food and the menu showed it. First, the scallops ceviche was...outstanding. I never had ceviche and Docks made me want it again. The blackened snapper with andoille and clams was spicey and delicious. The andoille was fantastic, couldn't believe to get good andoille in Jersey but was good. The beets side was great and Im not a beets guy. The other items we had were also great. We tried the calamari which was soft and light. From a southerners optic the lemon marangie was decent for getting in a northern stare as was the key lime. The key lime was more like a cheesecake. Overall loved the place. The valet also helped, you will need reservations unless you want to eat at bar. I love local seafood places and this place was fantastic. Totally suggest and if in town, for a day trip, eat at bar like we did and enjoy. Btw, the raw bar variety totally looked great, definite next time.More

Celebrating a birthday in AC, Docks did not disappoint - delicious and unique cocktails and a wide variety of oysters that were all perfectly prepared. Hands down the best fried calamari we’ve had in stateside; light, fresh (not chewy) and thin calamari rounds - delicious....Our entrees, the scallops and flounder with crab were both prepared perfectly.More

This is THE place for oysters! Fresh! Not gritty! You can’t go wrong here. Sat at the bar for happy hour. Raw oysters, fried oysters, calamari, clams casino, oysters Rockefeller and the winner is raw and fried oysters! Would come back if ever I’m in...the area. Calamari is not as good as everyone says. Too bready. In times of pandemic bartender and servers not wearing a mask.More

We were not familiar with Oysters at all, so we tried every variety that was offered and absolutely loved it! We then had crab cakes and they were amazing. Then we circled back around and had more oysters! So happy we tried this place. Our...waitress was Jody and she was amazing as well! Happy hour has limited seating so there was a line at 4:00, but service was extremely fast!More

Our extended family of 12 ate here recently to celebrate a birthday. And although there was a mix-up with our reservation, they worked hard to accommodate us. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and our server was very pleasant. It was definitely worth...the money & wait to be seated for our celebration.More

All four of us enjoyed our drinks, appetizers and meal. We made our reservation well in advance, we didn’t even need to wait for our table. Service was attentive and prompt. Will visit again.

Yes there is alternate parking available, and I think that there’s still a valet. I read about parking on Resy. We took an Uber though.
