Joey the server was personable and friendly. Betty, the hostess was engaging. Joey forgot to advise as to specials. Had shrimp cocktail, which was excellent. Served with lemon and horseradish. Had grilled snapper, which I asked to be filleted. Big collar bones and not grilled...well. Ordered with creamed spinach. Flavor nice, but way too creamy for me. Apple crostini for dessert. Apples and ice cream good. Crostini I passed on. Limited beer menu. Crowded, so very popular on a Friday night before seven.More

Came here for Valentines dinner. What i loved about it right from the start is that they gave us the option to choose from the regular menu also even though they offered a prefix V-day menu Ive eaten at many restaurants in AC and this...was by far the best one. I was so impressed by the service and I wish I could remember the our waiter's name, he was amazing. Surf and Turf was awesome and the first course of pasta with caviar was perfect! Cant wait to come backMore

Neros reopened & is now serving 6 days a week indoors. Menu is excellent, spacing is correct. Nice to have fine dining available more days than in previous years. Sad that the Sunday Buffet is scraped but perhaps they'll reopen a limited buffet in the...future with servers [eliminating customers taking their own food]; the way buffets started many years ago.More

We were apprehensive at eating outside but it was fabulous. Still the best dining in Atlantic City inside or out. Nice cool breeze along with the "social distance "is now the norm. My wife started with the jumbo lump crab cake and I had the...chopped salad. Both came very quickly and delicious. She had the lobster franchise and I had 22oz porterhouse with truffle roasted mushrooms. The most tender and juicy lobster and steak we have ever had. This was a great 35th wedding anniversary dinner. All of the servers were friendly and helpful.More

Had a truly excellent dinner at Nero's on Friday 7/24/20. At first, it was cancelled by the storm - since it is outdoor now during Pandemic - and we were disappointed! But Kathleen called us back to say, storm over, come down for dinner. How...wonderful is that, excellent communication and really trying to take care of the customer during this crazy time. We were seated appropriately, distance wise, due to Pandemic. Kathleen and Maitre'D were friendly, helpful and especially cheerful and happy to greet you. Table was spotless and once seated, laid out with all clean silverware, placemats and both cloth napkins and paper napkins. Then came Donna, our stupendous and wonderful server. She took care of us the way you want to be taken care of...with love! As we always share our meals, Donna had the kitchen split all 3 courses for us without asking. We had a truly fantastic Italian meal served the true Italian way - Salad, Pasta then Meat. Food, what is there to say, EXCELLENT! Chopped Salad had just the right amount of dressing, with a perfect selection or olives, red pepper, chic peas etc. Paccheri Bolognese had (tasted like fresh made pasta but we did not confirm) excellent combination of veal and meat sauce with perfect "al denti" pasta. You wanted to like the plate of the sauce. And completing we had the double cut lamb chops - excellent temperature, color and taste! Wine and water and bread was served throughout by excellent staff who did not miss a beat and filled up your glass before you knew you needed it. Attention to detail was fantastic and friendliness of all staff was really spectacular. We could not eat dessert as we were stuffed. Try Nero, dinning by the Stars and ask for Donna!More

Due to Governor Murphy’s seeming goal to hurt businesses by not allowing indoor dining, Nero’s has adapted. They now offer nightly dining on the pool deck outside. The service is incredible as always, the menu is the same and it’s an all around winning decision...to dine here. The filet was as good as you can get, cooked to perfection along with signature seasonings. The potato was huge and they have a great cocktail and wine menu. The employees take pride in their jobs and I’m so happy to see the employees making the best of a bad situation. AC is open for business, with restrictions naturally, but Nero’s is there as a wonderful option for dinner.More

Where to begin ? The food is always outstanding and the service is spot on ! We have been frequenting Neros for many years and the time has come to send kudos out to extrodinary staff, who go beyond the call of duty, ensuring that...every dining experience is a spendid one. Betty & Kathleen are always so welcoming upon our arrival, and cheerfully guide us to our table. The team of Ruffino and Rosie are the best wait staff in the business. Words can not express the pleasure it is to waited on by the both of them. They are truly sincere & wonderful people, so much so, we always request to be seated in their section when available. Another of our favorites is the ever smiling Armando, who makes it a point to shoot us a warm hello regardless of how busy he may be. The behind the scene staff are awesome as well ! Enjoy the Cocktails and well-appointed Wine List when visiting. The Chilean Sea Bass , Prime Rib or Porterhouse Steak are my personal favourite meals. Make sure to leave room for their wonderful Souflees or Lemon Cheesecake along with a fine DoubleExpresso to close off your dining experience. If you happen to be around on a Sunday, it is a must to have the Neros Brunch, Enjoy ! You wont be disappointed !More

For my money this is one of the best restaurants anywhere. The steaks and prime rib are top notch. It is very pricey but the secret is to ask for the $39 three course menu. It has appetizers, usually 3 main courses (beef, seafood or...pasta) with sides and a dessert.More

So all you read on reviews here are true, sort of, the selection is good for brunch, I have seen better but certainly much worse. Truly there is nothing to complain about, the service was ok, the selections were good, here is the problem, NOTHING...was “great” …. I have had better Bloody Mary’s on a plane with mixer, the oysters where certainly not fresh but not off (I have oysters at least twice a month I can tell). The hype on the “Caviar” they are not lying its “Caviar” but the exact same you can buy in a jar from most grocery stores for $3.99 a jar, so please don’t think you are getting top expensive Caviar here, if you do, I have a great Rolex to sell you for $100! The lamb was good as was the crepe but as I said, for the “Hype” and expectation I was wanting to be leaving with a grin on my face thinking “that was spectacular” instead I was leaving thinking I could have had same quality at any hotel Buffet and saved myself half the price…More

There is no dress code, but we enjoy getting dressed neatly as a lot of people are dressed well and although we are not competing, we like to look good!
