Excellent tasty and super fresh fish, the patacones and coconut rice are the best in the island. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow because everything is made in a wood fire which adds a particular delicious flavor to the food. Gregorio the waitress was super nice and friendly.

This is just a great simple restaurant to eat if you are spending the day on the beach and want something easy to eat. The servings are really big (we ordered one main to share and it was enough) and the service really good. I would recommend the mixed plate because it's big and you can try a bit of... More

We went here twice for lunch. The first time we ordered grilled fish and it was really delicious with yummy coconut rice. The second time we ordered a mixed plate for 1 and shared it for lunch - some things on it were really good like the lobster, but the massive fish was dry and the prawns were boring. Go... More

Excellent seafood, the best we tried in the island. The standard fish they use to fry is called "esposa vieja" and it has a wonderful meat. The "mixed plate" is served with prawls and lobster by 30.000 pesos (10 dollars). Service is good and fast.

After a so-so experienced in Divino Niño, the owner of Coral Blue restaurant told us to try this one because that's where locals go and the fish is fresher. What a good suggestion! As we had already tried "plato mixto", we ordered lobster, crab and sea snails (that came with soup and coconut rice) and shared. Everything was delicious!! Definitely... More

Right on Southwest Beach. Extremely casual. BTW, Southwest Beach right now has a very large algae bloom so if you're near the water you can smell the decaying vegetation. We had a very nice lunch. Both came with a tasty fish soup. Mrs had lightly fried whole snapper and I had the mixed seafood grill which consisted of smaller lightly... More

My husband and I tried this restaurant once just to try a new place. There is. It a menu. They will tell you what they have that day, which consisted of the normal dishes for the island....whole fish, filet, conch, lobster and crab. Every dish i served with a fish soup and rice and plantains. I had the lobster and... More

We ate the catch of the day for lunch here everyday. We enjoyed it so much. Great food, service and view. I highly recommend. I look forward to the next meal there.

Food at Arturo's is really good and tasty. We really enjoyed our visit and our Fried Barracuda and plantains. Service is really nice, way better than Divino niño. This is a nice place for local food.

Really local place, average tending to low prices, variety of seafood, it's a nice option for a local type of lunch with a great beach just footsteps away.
