Fun local eatery with great food and casual atmosphere. My husband had the fish with coconut rice and I had beans and rice. Loved it !! They have an outdoor area in the back but I thought it was hot and humid.

This has been by far the best experience I've made in a restaurant during my stay in Colombia. The food is superb, the atmosphere is great and authentic and the staff is super well organised. If you're look for a good meal, go ahead, go there for lunch, but be quick! They open the doors and it's crowded two minutes... More

Yummy seafood at a reasonable price. We tried the seafood casserole, seafood rice with half baby lobster and the camerones mulato. All were tasty and rich. Service was slow.

We got in relatively quickly, as the night was winding down. not sure exactly what was going on this night, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks....dinner arrived after 45 minutes...fish of the day (sea bass) was tasteless and overcooked...we had seabass earlier in the day in Rosario so I remembered how it should taste!!. My partners... More

Went for lunch as a couple and had the coconut fish, the lemon pesto fish, and 2 limonada de coco. Each meal came with a fish soup starter which was delicious! The limonada de coco, however, was the star of the show and absolutely incredible! Total cost was 60,000 for the two of us when tax was added, so not... More

Saw lots of great reviews on La Mulata , so waited in line for dinner; however the food was OK and service OK... the fish was overcoooked and was very disappointing. I would suggest giving this a miss, there are so many other better places to eat!

Not sure why I went to a restaurant known for its authentic Colombian seafood when I don't like seafood! But I did enjoy my rice and beans! The restaurant was full to capacity with a lively, primarily local crowd. The food was very good. Not sure if it was because we don't speak Spanish, but we had very slow service... More

La Mulata was one of the restaurants that I wanted to try during our Cartagena visit. This was a seafood quest for us, so I ordered the Sea Bass and my wife a seafood combo. Both dishes were really good, fresh and well prepared. I had a limonadas de coco for dessert, it was creamier and thicker than some of... More

Have eaten here many times and we recommend the seafood dishes and fruit juices. It gets very crowded at lunch time but the staff is very accommodating and will quickly find a table. Everything is fresh and portions are large - we particularly favor the whole fried fish. Very affordable.
