Small, charming Cuban restaurant just few steps from Santo Domingo church. Nice interior with Cuban photos and other memorabilia. Ordered squid stuffed with mussels and crab meat. It took some time to get it on the table but once there, it was yummy. It comes with coconut rice as sidedish. With a drink it cost me a total of 15usd.... More

La Bodeguita del medio is a small restaurant located within the walled city. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with great taste, flavor and perfect portions. The prices are fair for what you get. The service was excellent. It is pretty small so they don't have a good wine selection, because is small and the food prepared when ordered the wait... More

Terrible food , I ordered fry pork chunks , masitas de puerco , there were reheat or something so wear that can not explain the taste or flavor , I did not eat it , then my wife ordered rice and beans and they brought moros , means rice and beans mixed already , they suppose to be white rice... I ate here with my husband and two children. The kids and I had the garlic shrimp and husband had the ropa vieja. We all loved our meals. The rice was delicious, with hints of chocolate it seemed. Very flavorful. The service was friendly. The only issue was the card machine was down and my husbands had to walk to... More

So happy i stumbled upon this quaint space in the old city. The restaurant could probably double as a museum with all the photos decorating the wall. The Ropa Vieja is to die for here, i will definitely be back on all my future visits. Worth checking out while you explore the walled city and soak up the beauty around... More

Stumbled on this place and thought we'd found s "hidden gem." Decor was fun: photos from Cuba on the walls, nice art, small tables with bright yellow chairs. There was only one other table occupied, which should have been our first red flag. We ordered mojitos at the waiter's recommendation. They were very small. Plantains were dry/inedible, my ropa vieja... More

I returned to this place after many years of my last visit. I ordered a Ropa Vieja, in despite meat was good the rice seemed was cooked some days before and had an "special" smell. Ambient was not the best, perhaps because there were just opening that day. Mojito was too short for my liking

We walked into this place thinking it belong to the famous Bodeguita del Medio from Cuba. It is not. Nothing to it. Dark, small shack. Not good food. Not Cuban food. Not Colombian food. Terrible! A rip off.

Had dinner here, charming little place, ordered the "rabo" oxtail, and stuff calamari, everything was delicious. They make a great mojito.

Good mojito!! Small place! The only bad thing is that the mojito was too small! Kitchen behind scenes!!! Stop and drink a mojito!!!
