Very good to excellent dishes made the way Chinese mothers would make at home. Not gourmet offerings but solid Chinese dishes. The green beans with minced pork meat is as good as you can get them. The sauces used in the dishes are good but not exceptional. Great place to dine with the locals at very reasonable prices. Located in... More

Nice staff and decent food. Found it by surprise and it turned out great. The location is around sketchy bars but don't let that turn you off. Get the roasted duck and Sweet and sour pork. :)

Decent food and prices. Lots of food choices and dumplings is only a very small part of the menu. Went on a Sunday night and the place was around half full. English translation below chinese menu although I don't believe the staff speak English.

The food was excellent - every dish we ordered we enjoyed. Initially we were upset with our waitress as the dessert we ordered came with the dishes and we had to eat it quickly in the middle of our meal. We didn't send it back as the waitress would have had to pay for it. Then we gave her a... More

As a frequent visitor to Suzhou yang yangs is still a great place to try local food. Huge menu with pictures to help non Chinese. Waitress spoke English. Food and beer was great and at cheap prices.

The decor was very nice but the food was average. I ordered the fried spring rolls and thought they were very bland. The boiled dumplings were a little better but they forgot about my order and served dumplings first to the table that had arrived after us. So when my dumplings came they were cold from sitting around. When we... More

Known for dumplings but has a much more extensive menu. The bilingual menu includes many different kinds of dumplings (where I was focused) although almost all are boiled dumplings and only one dish is pan fried dumplings. Nice modern decor.

Yeah, the food is a bit pricey for Suzhou, but for us tourists I found it to be quite reasonable. Yeah, the food is a bit greasy, everything here is greasy. I will take greasy, overpriced food with joy because they had clean, shiny bathrooms WITH SOAP! Perfectly adequate for the average western tourist.

I came here with a large group of 16 people, the staff quickly found us a table and made us welcome. We ordered so much food and it was all good.... Especially the tofu, beans with beef, spring rolls and liver! The food was all great the staff were helpful, good atmosphere and authentic too!
