Seeing all reviews I thought must try. Was in the area so let's go. Will not waste too much time on review.....but this is an insult to call this anything like Mexican or American. Where the reviews come from with excellent is a riddle to me.

After reading reviews, finally locating the restaurant, I was very impressed with this burger. The nachos are great as well. Service is rather prompt, seating is limited. Classic rock and roll for your listening pleasure. I'd recommend this to everyone that enjoys a good burger.

This is a new small restaurant that grew out of the Red Armadillo at Zeng cuoan. this new location is hard to find, but worth it. very small- with only 3 small rooms. However, the mostly Tex-Mex food is very tasty. We tried burrito, taco salad, and some other dishes and all were good. The let-down is the location, which... More

Very cozy little place in xiamen. Its a bet of a drive from down town. Its a house that was converted to an american grill where u can get burgers and tex mex. good place to chill out with friends and enjoy a burger and nachos.

There is now "ROY'S RED ARMADILLO" It is in a great location! Roy's Red Armadillo seats up to one hundred people, which is great for parties. They have a variety of foods and drinks. You will always find service with a smile! :D

Run by an expat who, unlike some western businessmen in China, has a good honest establishment. The food is good and plentiful. A little hard to find but worth a visit for some good western food that won't break the budget.

The Red Armadillo won't compare to a typical burger joint in the United States. But if you're living on Xiamen for business purposes and need a change from all of the rice, this is a GREAT restaurant to stumble upon and get yourself a burger. And truth be told, after a month eating nothing but "gong bao ji ding," the... More

The Red Armadillo is a nice alternative to the mostly chinese restaurants and the staff can speak an acceptable english. However google maps sent us to a spot about 10 kilometres away from the real restaurant and it was a nightnare to find as no taxi understands english. The best is to phone the restaurant from the taxi and hand... More

This restaurant was in a cool part of town and it was definitely worth the cab ride to find it. Had been eating Chinese food for the past two straight days and needed something different. Live in Beijing and I would say this place (especially the nachos) lived up to most of the Mexican/texmex restaurants there. They have a fairly... More
