This place has a warm vibe and the service is good. While I am a fan of sandwiches, Chilean sandwiches do not blow me away and this place was not at the top of the list, though they were ok. The portions are huge. I had most of mine and decided to have a bite of 2 others. Nothing was... More

The Cafe Tapiz possesses a very inviting, colorful interior that is cozy and ideal to just hop in and warm up from the usually cold Punta Arenas weather and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, while using their wifi. As for lunch would I not necessarily recommend the Cafe, as it did find somewhat expensive and the meals rather... More

I had a grilled seafood and cheese sandwich that was huge. It was tasty and oozing with ingredients. Staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. Coffee latter was very good.

The cafe has a great Oldie athmosphere, but with a modern Twist. The waiting staff partly speak some english, which was nice, although my travelcompanion spoke Spanish. The cakes are yummy, and the slices are massive! Crockery is non matching, which we really like. During our time in Punta Arenas did we visit twice, and both times very busy. A... More

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cool drink and a sandwich. Just a warm, quirky, homey room, with good sandwiches and very friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We had a grilled cheese sandwich and coffee here for a light lunch. Decent portions and ok food. Ambience was cute and cosy.

This is a truly cosy place in which to enjoy a quick meal and a decent cup of coffee. The atmosphere is very friendly and the decor most unusual.

We had lunch with friends around 3pm on saturday. Food was ok, nothing thrilling. The bad experience was at the time the waitress. We asked to split the bill betwen both families. She was never capable of doing so properly. She tried ten times, never with the same results, and quite different from ours. In the end, we got down to... More

Stopped in on a rainy day for a coffee and piece of cheesecake. Both great, especially the cheesecake. A little on the pricy side, paid about 9 or 10 USD for both. Also no Wifi which is odd for a cafe.
