Nomadesert is a cute little cafe about 3 blocks from the beach! It's in a nice area of town where you can sit outside and enjoy the breeze from the ocean. They have yummy little pastries and sandwiches (not the typical Chilean churasco, etc), but actual paninis. It's also one of the only coffee shops with ground coffee and not... More

We spent a few hours here when we arrived in Iquique. The coffee was great and staff attentive. It was quiet and mostly local clients. Their strawberry smoothie drink was fabulous. The pet friendly atmosphere was great - creates a comfortable and fun place to visit.

You can get a decent coffee here which is not easy to find in Chile. Somehow they can't make good coffees in most places. It often very watery and just doesn't taste good or maybe it's just their style to drink it. Anyway this place makes a decent coffee and nice strudel :-)

I love these kinds of cafés! Small, cozy and full of love. I had an orangejuice and a panini with salmon, sensational :)

I love Nomadesert! They have a cute little cafe not far from Playa Cavancha (under 5 minute walk) and the staff has always been very friendly. They have a variety of juices, teas, coffees, and desserts. I've visited a few times and it's a nice place to go with a book or maybe some work to sit for a while... More

We are baffled by all the 'rave' reviews this coffee shop has received on Trip Advisor! We were very disappointed; there was nothing appealing about it. The music was playing so loud it was as though we had entered a nightclub. The menu was unappetizing. We found what we were looking for at the Coffee Bowl instead!

One of the best coffee spots in Iquique the coffee it's great (Juan Valdez), affordable gourmet food, friendly staff, you are obligated to try the Quinoa Burger and the soup (cream) of the day dubbed "Xiopitas", the place it's also a little boutique of local craftsmanship ,and office of "Mistico Outdoors", the best tour operator of Iquique.

Ever since stumbling upon nomadesert our first day in Iquique, my girlfriend and I have eagerly returned each day since to enjoy their spectacular coffee, food, and atmosphere. The cafe, which doubles as a furniture boutique, is immaculate. It has all the charm of an Italian street side cafe combined with a eclectic and innovative menu of breakfast and lunch... More
