We went there for the illustrated show about the history of photography in Cambodia called "Snap" We decided to stay for the 3 course dinner as well. And we didn't regret!!! Interesting show, tasty food delicately served, lovely garden, excellent and friendly service.

The setting is off the beaten path down a side street in Siem Reap that you would not find through casual wandering. But the food is excellent and served at tables dispersed throughout individual patio settings. Prices are high by Cambodian standards but extremely reasonable by US standards. We enjoyed two large drinks, their signature barbecue, a side and dessert... More

The restaurant was chosen by my husband for the romantic dinner. After having 2 other evening meals experience:cheaper and more expensive in the noisy town centre, Tangram experience was by far the best. It was not easy to find it but I am glad that my husband was persistent to get us there for the peaceful, intimate atmosphere in beautiful... More

Puzzled by the rave reviews. Yes, the owners are nice and ambiance special. But that is where it stops. I do not remember ever seeing a menu as short as theirs. They have 10 items across three courses. I picked fish, which came with potatoes. It tasted like nothing more than fish with potatoes. I could have probably made that,... More

Wonderful ambience. Warm, friendly service. Excellent food, beautifully presented. Tangram Garden is a must-experience experience not least of which are the first rate theatrical presentations of Bambu Stage, based on Cambodian history and traditions. "Temples DeCoded" is a case in point offering an illuminating and multi-sensory education of the Angkor complex. And then to continue the evening with a lovely... More

Definitely worth it. The price is reasonable, foods are wonderful!! I love the welcome drink "chilly margarita" unique and tasty. The owners are so friendly and kind. The show itself is very educational and entertaining. Would recommend for people who like quite and relax dinning.

We had dinner there last night. Nice fish dish with potatoes and salad. Service was good and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go back again without hesitation.

Keep your eyes and ears out for "Bambu State" who put on a variety of shows around Siem Reap. We saw their "150 years of photography in Cambodia" at the Tangram Garden, so this review is infused with the show rather than the venue. But, having said that, Tangram Garden offered intimate dining in a garden setting and probably was... More

Beautiful atmosphere and setting within the secluded huts - a nice retreat from the tourist hustle and bustle at the temples. Fantastic service - staff really make an effort to ensure experience is authentic and different to conventional restaurants. Food was perfect - love the fish amok. Great value for money. Would definitely go back!
