Fantastic tasting pizza, pasta and salad. Clean and great service! Tried this restaurant back in May last year and again recently on return to Siem Reap and was again very happy to find that the quality was still there. The best tasting thin and crispy pizza around (not just Asia) and the salad and pasta's were also a taste sensation.... More

Thought we'd try this place out from the reviews of trip advisor. Was actually quite nice. We had pizza, which didn't really look like much but it tasted pretty good. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice pizza. Chocolate mousse is good too, might want to share though as it is pretty rich.

After a month in SE Asia our tummies were in the mood for something more home-like. This place seem to fit the bill. Located in an alley off of Pub street it is a little out of the way but more quiet. Food was good. We had a mushroom pizza, grilled veggies with pesto and a penne pasta with vegetables.... More

Italian food is comfort good to us. We were looking for that after many weeks of sampling the fantastic foods of Vietnam and Cambodia. Our Hotel recommended Il Forno. It's in one of the lane ways in the area of Pub Street. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the staff were very engaging and professional. I ordered from... More

Just to be different we thought we would forgo our $9 3 course meal for 2 which we have enjoyed at the market on 2 occasions. I ordered the gnocchi and Keith the ravioli. The dishes were tasty, we sat at ground level in the "lane." We didn't order drinks or anything else and left to have a gelato down... More

There is il forno in Phnom Penh and there is il forno in Siem Reap. The only real difference is that PP has air conditioning. Otherwise it is fabulous food. And they even played Pavarotti on request. Can't get better than that. Great Italian food with great Italian opera.

Amazing. Iv eaten here 3 nights in a row, everything has been SO good. I'm half italian, and I kept going back because it just felt like I was back in italy. The pizza's are excellent. The gnocchi are soft and fluffy, the tortellini were also on point. Had the tiramisu and the chocolate salami, both excellent choices.

Today I had lunch with my friend in Il Forno. It used to be my favorite place, best pizza for sure... or it used to be anyways... After today I am not sure.... I ordered a bruschetta for starters and a Pizza Fungi. To my surprise pizza came before the appetizer. Pizza was good but not as good as used... More

I had a reservation and got a table on the second floor with air conditioning. The service is very fast and food is pretty good as well. The portion is very adequate and taste pretty good as well. A good place to have pizza and pasta.

Description
We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.
