Our party of 4 came in last Friday for lunch on our way to Tawas for the Labor Day Weekend. There were about 6 other people dining at the time we arrived. Service was a little slow; but we were on vacation/business trip so weren't too concerned. One of us ordered the French Onion soup. I tasted it and it... More

This was our third time here in the last 5 years. It has been a very good option after the beach for drinks and a light menu. This year other than the very good chicken wings the rest of the experience was poor at best. It was July 2nd so crowded on a holiday weekend and that was expected. The... More

The food is always good here! Great staff. Occasionally the service is slower. Worth the visit for sure.

We did our annual Ducks Unlimited Xmas get together at Ali's (formerly Dunleavy's but Trip Advisor is not up to date on the correct name yet.) last Saturday. Ali Wiltse the owner set us up a nice table for our group in the back room. She also did a special Prime Rib that evening as we request every year. The... More

We ate here for lunch with two small children. The staff was super accommodating, and the food was delicious! A very enjoyable meal!

Went here recently for a quick Friday dinner. Food was good, prime rib special was outstanding! Good burgers, wrap, philly cheese steak. However, ordered & paid extra for onion rings (which were really good) but only received 5 onion rings. Really? Also would avoid the chips & salsa appetizer - got hardly any almost stale chips with some basic jarred... More

We hadn't eaten here in a couple of years, and were aware of a transition of ownership. We have eaten here twice now, within the last week, and were not disappointed either time. What used to be Dunleavy's is now Ali's Up North. The ownership changed a couple of years ago, but the transition to a new identity is slow.... More

Excellent food, very busy. Service a little slow but all-you-can-eat fish was worth the wait -- freshly cooked!

A group of eight went to a special comedy night at Ali's (formerly Dunleavy's) last Friday. They had a couple of comedians that were good. For a larger crowd she had two dinner specials which all of our group ordered. Prime Rib was very good and a generous portion. Seasoned well. Side of asparagus was excellent. Garlic mashed potatoes were... More
