Ali Ramlawi, the owner of The Jerusalem Garden, is running for Ann Arbor City Council in the 5th Ward and just beat the incumbent in the August 9th primary election. He runs a great restaurant and last year moved from a small space around the...More

Jersulem Gardens is an old love. I will never give it up. I mind that it grew up and moved around the corner, but it wasn't spoiled in the least. If you like Middle Eastern food, or want to learn to like it, this is...More

This family-friendly restaurant serves fresh Middle Eastern food at a reasonable price. Servings are so copious that two could easily share one dinner.

Stopped by with family after a game, whole area was packed. Fairly quick service, good menu of mediterranean selections, which means great vegetarian options. We got it to go but the interior was really pretty, colorful and warm. Great option for light or full meal!

We ate here twice during our visit to Ann Arbor, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. The falafel sandwich (get it with pickles!) was delicious, as were the house-made stuffed grape leaves. The desserts were excellent, too!

Last visit was when they had their tiny place. New spot is large, bright and well designed. Food was as good as I recall from decades ago. Prices are quite reasonable and service spot on.

We went there for lunch. My selection, the meat grape leaves sandwich, was unavailable, as were all the grape leaves items on the menu. The sandwich I went for came on its own with no sides (I expected hummus to be on the side, not...More

We were here last year and it was fabulous. This year the food was just ok. The manoul (dessert) was so amazing that I searched for the special mold to make them at home. This times it scored a "2." Sad, very sad.

Having left Ann Arbor a few years ago, this is the spot I miss the most. Simple, delicious food with fresh ingredients. Consistently tasty and affordable.

Had the chicken shawarma and a side of fries for $9. F Decent food for the price. Not the best but not the worst. Good if you're on a bit of a budget.

I don't know. The menu is available online, you could check. Also, try calling before you go. As I am not Muslim, I didn't notice. Sorry.
