I have be going there with UM visitors that have heard about the restaurant at the train station. Nice decor and building. Hence, worth visiting and having a drink and then leave. Mediocre food and service and definitely overpriced. The town has much better offerings.

Food was great. Restaurant was charming, and service impeccable. Great place for a birthday, they even gave me that nights menu, with my name printed on the top.

Our family took two guests from UK to have dinner. One meal with holes and tunnels in asparagus has been bitten by Incects. It looked disgusting. The female manager came said “Sorry, I will let the chef know”. Afterwards like nothing happened, no discount, no...More

The building is historic and charming, a former train station on the Detroit to Chicago Amtrack line. The train still goes by and the patrons clap when it roars by. Unfortunately, the food is not up to the charm factor or even the decent service....More

The location was unique within itself. The staff and meals were terrific! I had a group of 11 and everyone enjoyed their meals and had a great time. I visit every time I'm in Ann Arbor.

Why not phone the Gandy Dancer. To me, that seems more reliable than random speculation on this forum.

If you check out their website, you will not see a vegetarian section on their menu. However, there are salad options and if you contact them, I'm sure they would make something to accommodate a vegetarian. This is a steak... More
