After our tour of U Michigan, we drove to this recommendation. It was noon on a Friday in June, so we expected some crowds, but figured we'd risk it since it was the summer. We put an hour on the meter, and arrived. The line...More

Overrated, overpriced, slow service and no parking and nowhere to sit. I do not know why there is all the hype about this place because the food is mediocre, virtually tasteless and ridiculously expensive for the quality served. The only positive was the very pleasant...More

This place still serves the best corned beef sandwiches! Took my incoming UM freshman daughter there for the first time and she had an excellent sandwich too. NOT TO BE MISSED but watch out for the crowds at lunch ... definitely worth the wait.

Long lines and dry soggy bread. As a local I have given this place several tries hoping I would figure out what everyone love about it. I never did. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I always get the Rueben and am always satisfied. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Their selection of cheeses up front are incredible. They even have some Lindberger from a city where we lived close to in Germany. Excellent samples.

Excellent! We had the corned beef hash. Best hash I've ever had! Great bakery, cheese, granola, lots of samples of olive oils and vinegars.

What an amazing place! Delicious sandwiches piled high with meats and cheeses, many made in-house. Our Cuban sandwich followed by a huge piece of carrot cake from the bakery next door was the perfect lunch on a beautiful Michigan day. Eating on the outdoor deck...More

The questions being asked are best answered by the operators of the restaurant. It's a Deli and things change. They also sell breads and they do have a cooking school. Just ask them for the most current info. Enyaw
