A local, clean, simple place with great empanadas. Liked this place alot, good, simple local dishes specializing in empanadas in all its varities. The place is clean, tidy and service was good.

Expect nothing special here, just good empanadas, nothing else. Friendly service. The place lacks a bit of atmosphere.

People say that El Patio is the best but I beg to differ. This little place is my favourite place to stop by and grab a Santa Clara (or two). Beautiful, juicy and tasty, they are so delish that I probably indulge a little more than I should.

In my humble opinion, this little roadside stop has the best Chicken empanada/salteñas in the city. When I want a chicken salteña I will walk out of my way to go here and order the 'Santa Clara' which is filled with chicken and other yumminess! The beef salteñas are nothing to write home about though. If I want beef, I... More

El Paso de los Abuelos is a typical, local stop for seated, non-street sold empanadas. The place lacks decoration or character, but has a number of tables to sit at. The empanadas are average in size and taste and are market-priced (about $1 USD). Drinks options are mainly chilled sodas (no fresh-squeezed juices). There are two types of empanadas to... More
