Excellent staff and excellent experience. Everytime we travel to Dubai, we visit Al Bayt without a doubt. Lovely food and very generous with the extra foods.

This was my 5th visit for afternoon tea here... it's just so luxurious and such great value! Both the tray stand option and the buffet (available on selected days) are lovely. I like also that the teas and coffees are unlimited. Service is always on point. Today we were looked after by a lady (I think her name was Maud)... More

Our favourite spot for afternoon tea as a family. Our 7 year old is coeliac but she always gets a gluten free afternoon tea that is exceptional and always excites her! Definitely recommend here!

Well the overall experience was great , the food and the selection of beverages was good the low point was having to pay extra for a bottle of water which leaves a poor taste really cause that's the basic need and should be part of the high team package of AED 160

We visited with friends and were delighted to find it was the afternoon tea buffet. We used two Entertainer vouchers so it was excellent value for money! Service was friendly but a little slow.

Beautiful hotel. Selection of food was average - sandwiches weee dry from being left out. Savoury choice was mostly sandwiches.

Description
Set in an idyllic Arabian ambience with Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building serving as its backdrop, Al Bayt, the Lobby Lounge at The Palace Downtown Dubai, is further elevating its charm with an array of new elements.

The splendid lounge will resonate to the traditional tunes of Arabia by a live harpist, from August 26, 2pm to 6pm daily, adding to the majestic atmosphere of The Palace Downtown Dubai, a five star retreat nestled in the heart of Downtown Dubai. The mellifluous notes of violinist Olga Trifonova, a resident musician in a selection of hotels around the world including Busan in South Korea, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, will resound in the hallways of The Palace.

From October 2 onwards, harpist Evelyna Markova, whose music stylings span classical, contemporary, modern, jazz, and Arabic, will perform a repertoire of songs from Europe and the Middle East, from 2pm to 6pm

Al Bayt is open 24 hours.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
