French toast was mushy and had too much egg. It almost felt like I was eating an omelette. Interiors were good and felt relaxing. But given the price of the food and the taste, I would not go back.

Went for breakfast here with hubby, can't say I was pleased with the choices, very limited, so just stuck to the basics and ordered scrambled eggs, and hubby got eggs benedict. Have to add on all the extras if you want, does not come with bread e.t.c. not very good value for money, but did the job for breakfast. Service... More

This is a great Cafe with a wide selection of dishes. The food is always delicious and the staff friendly. I make a habit of sitting in the lounge chairs but at the tables is comfortable too. I've eaten there for breakfast, Lunch & dinner at various times and days and the only fault I have seen is tha when... More

Le pain has a very impressive breakfast variety to choose from, went there by myself on a weekday so it wasnt too busy. Service was great, food cooked to perfection. Will go back and possibly try their salads!

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
