A hidden gem. Home-made food. One of the best restaurants serving Levantine cuisine. Simple and casual but the food is just amazing. It is a small place so it may be difficult to get a table during summer.
My family and I visited this restaurant on our holiday in December. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the amazing variety of delicacies on offer! The staff were friendly, and the host- nadim made us feel so at home as...if we were eating in Mariam’s kitchen in her house! 10/10 would recommend and the kebab hamoodi dish is a mustMore
I always wanted to check this place, & finally got the chance last week.. I went for breakfast & was not disappointed :)
Although it's not a big place, but it's really cozy, the staff are very friendly, & the manaeesh or the fatteh we...had were super delicious!
We met the owner & her daughter, who are truly nice, & they turned out to be family friends since forever!
It's one of these hidden gems in JLT that you definitely check out..More
"Bayt" is the Arabic word for "Home". This place is not only the true meaning of Home by the food standard but also by the way the staff and the owner herself deals with people. A true story of success and entrepreneurship. Chef Susan cooks...and supervise the whole process from A to Z. You can feel her soul and heart in the place.
This is THE HOUSE OF home made food. Absolutely the best. Don't miss eating Fava beans " Foul medames and Hummus".More
The different food variations at Bait Maryam never cease to amaze me every time I visit. I always try new dishes and they are usually superb.
The service staff are not the best but the good food definitely makes up for any issues with the...service. And Chef Salam drops by to greet the patrons from time to time and chats with everyone and asks for feedback on her food which is always a nice experience.
Make sure you try the chicken msakhan fatteh! Absolutely heavenly!More
