Tagine is definitely an oppulent and impressive restaurant that emulates an intimate Marrakesh setting. The gentle strains of a Morroccan oud player with waiters dressed in North African attire will definitely transport you to a different dimension whilst authentic dishes are served in a grand manner on top of a gleaming silver platter. The wonderful rffisia, a Morrocan stew filled... More

Thee service is poor aand the drinks below expectaations, room temperature Champagne for example. The food was extremely bland and tasteless, so much so that we sent it back and went elsewhere to eat!

The restaurant is part of the one and only royal mirage hotel in Dubai, located in a separate building though. You can enjoy dinner or light snacks with the traditional Moroccan live music. The chef comes and greets the guests sometimes and you would really want to meet her because of the delicious dishes you will be having. If you... More

Visited recently for dinner with friends. The restaurant is stunning and you feel as if you've stepped straight into Morocco. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and great with kids (they took my friends son to visit the kitchen and to play the drums and tambourine with the band). With so many tasty choices we decided it was best to share... More

Everything, from the atmosphere, the setting of the tables, the music, was impeccable. I had the best grilled lamb in my life. The pigeon pie is a must, as is the dessert with the phyllo pastry and the cream. An unforgettable experience

I was super disappointed and disgusted by the place. It was the worse resturant Ive ever been to in Dubai. The restuarant was too dark it felt so weird. The food was tasteless. The chicken and the meat tasted not clean since they were on top of each other on my couscous. It felt contaminated. Never ever ever ever again.

The Tagine is reached via the 'Courtyard' at The Palace, walk through this vibrant setting through a huge wooden door into the restaurant itself. Lovely atmosphere with friendly attentive staff. Menu varied and interesting with great food.

I took my family over there last Friday for a dinner as they wanted something different and full of taste. It was around 11 pm and still the place was very busy with live moroccan music and it was like a free trip to morocco without stepping in any plane. Staff are very polite and most of them can speak... More

Set dinner for Christmas was a strange experience. Excellent setting and service but unfortunately the poorest food one can get for dinner. So what ever you decide at least avoid set dinners at this place and forget about their accompanying wine tasting menu.

Truly Moroccan, the ambiance of Tagine provides diners with more than just a taste of this mysterious land. The tobacco-coloured walls have been hand polished and wax plastered in the Moroccan tradition of Tadlekt. Lanterns, rugs and artefacts have been specially procured from around the region and adorn the restaurant’s series of moody rooms, arches and alcoves, creating an ambience akin to an old home in Marrakesh.
