Visit this usually busy café in the main street about 400 metres from the end of the peninsula. Excellent bakery and menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner tends to be quiet. French/European menu with good salads.

This is since several years the best bakery in town (even my hotel buys for breakfast everything here). This french bakery makes everything so tasty, that they could compete with any bakery in France. Great bread, great pastry, great options for lunch, excellent icecreams (also homemade). I came here three times during my week-long stay in Luang Prabang and had the most delicious breakfasts and lunches in a long time! Try the salads and paninis!

We stopped here for lunch. We had a couple of sandwiches which was nice. Also had coffee which was also nice. Each sandwich had a small salad to accompany it which is a nice touch. We also bought a couple of tarts which we took away and they were beautiful. Great place to chill out at lunchtime.

Yes the croissant is the real deal, however we were not impressed with the staff. They were totally uninterested and from where we were sitting inside, the place could do with a good clean up. It was not dirty but lots of ants around, yes I do know that they are everywhere here. However so far we have not been... More
