Weve been to Luang Prabang 3 times now. This is our 4th visit to thia restaurant - in our view the best in town. Excellent fush cakea and coconut, lemongrass and carrot soup.

My girlfriend and I had a romantic dinner at the Apsara the evening when there was the rare moon eclipse (blue moon/blood moon combined), which we were able to observe from the lovely terrace. I had an absolutely delicious Khao Soy and the rest was...More
We had a lovely crispy pork baguette for lunch and returned the next day for dinner. The good was deliciously fragrant with a hint of spice and the setting along the side of the river was delightful. Service was genuinely pleasant and it was quieter...More
We enjoyed an excellent, good value meal of tomato salad, fishcakes and duck leg - every dish was delicious. The wine by the glass was above average quality and the service was quick and very professional. Don't be put off by the fact that the...More

Food presentation and flavour were a delight, river view was quieter than the Mekhong side but was lovely in its own right and far more peaceful. However, the service here was utterly spot on and the free tapas they do in lieu of happy hour...More

After a couple of days eating traditional Lao food at some wonderful places, we decided to try this highly recommended restaurant. It certainly lived up to its reputation. The food was beautiful, and we were able to eat right on the river.
Dear Chrisjam, Thanks so much for your review, I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the food so much and I'll pass on your comments my whole team. Best, Christopher

We are going back for our 3rd and final visit today but after being in LP 10 days wish we had discovered this underrated ( judging by lack of patronage) beautiful restaurant much earlier. This place has a Somerset Maugham feel about it. I inwardly...More
