We had high expectations after reading the reviews. But we were disappointed. The food was average and it way off from the real taste of Tunisian food. The seafood salade is completely inedible.

This is a lovely place to eat. Its clean food. Has a toilet. Staff are as friendly as can be but limited english spoken. You get a better deal if you speak the language or go with a local person. There are much cheaper places to eat but if you are hygiene fussy this is one for you to try.

Next to hotel de Paris this small local eatery offers well priced Tajines and cous cous. Lovely mint tea and selection of deserts-yummy.

We ate tajine and some brics. The service was very good, very friendly. The tajine was the best we ate in Tunisia. Very small restaurant, but very nice food.

As the reviews state , this is a typical Restuarant serving wholesome traditional food - all cooked fresh and perfectly. From the bread, soup, salads and McKnight courses - it is all very good and central to Sousse Town Centre as well. Don't expect a top class European Restuarant as you are in North Africa but their standards for Sousse/Tunisia... More

We had lunch at this lovely little authentic Tunisian cafe three years and could not wait to return. We did, and were not disappointed. It is just inside the Medina and easy to find and well worth looking. The food is traditional and deeply delicious, service is fast and friendly and is very good value for money. Eight of us... I guess we came at the wrong moment. Most of the menu was unavailable, so the cook threw together some lamb which was quite average. However in Sousse standards it turned out pretty decent compared to other nights.

We finished our visiting the Sunday's traditional fair in Medina Sousse with the lunch in this small and pleasant restaurant located right near the Medina walls. After some fine local Tunisian appetizers (miniature, triangularly shaped briks filled with aromatic mashed potato, mashed tomato and onion with a lot of parsley, white beans in spicy tomato sauce and sauteed eggplants, zucchinis...
