As fans of the Happy Bar & Grill in Ruse, we came at its Varna correspondent for our one day visit in the city. And got an even better experience as this restaurant is larger: no queue to get seated, same excellent service, same excellent...food, very clean toilets. We came here several times, each time you get in it feels like entering the smoking room. It is allowed to smoke everywhere, inside and out (iqos also counts as a smoking, and it smells as bad as the real cigarettes). There is one non-smoking...area where the smell of cigarette smoke is not very common, but it is hard to get there. The service does its best, but the fit is always tight, so the waiting time is exhaustingly long. I had no luck with food. Sushi falls apart on the way to the saucepan. The salad is so seasoned with oil that it is the only taste you will feel. Several times I came across a wooden hard avacado. Gyros tastes like fat, literally, the chicken is fried, but the fat is not melted and the food is barely warm during serving. This is the overall impression of several visits.More

I ordered sushi, and when it comes after very long waiting there was a white worm already enjoying it. I called a waiter and they took it and said they would change it. After another long wait they brought maybe new sushi without a worm,...but even as they were handing me the plate I saw something sticking out and pulled out a piece of nylon in front of the waitress. I asked to speak to a manager and he offered us to pay only for our next orders.More

Very nice food reasonably priced. Only one negative comment. In this day and age it is not acceptable to have young women in uniforms that barely cover their behinds bending over tables. Poor girls probably have no choice if they need a job. Clean up...your act happy people go for good food not see see young women objectified. No sign of fellas without shirts. A cold and rainy day- we order from our hotel lunch for two- potato soup, chicken crispy and a big salad. All good, warm what shoud be warm, delivered in time. All good and not for second time!

Scruffy place; staff are almost dressed, appearing unclean; menu with gigantic pictures and poor choice of food, mostly frozen and reheated; loud music over shadowing any conversation you might attempt to the extent whereby you need to literally shout at each other, meaning you're listening...to everyone's conversation. Back on the staff - questionable customer service skills - shouting at each other about customers, giving the overall impression that they don't want to be there. The entire concept is vulgar. Anyone choosing to spend time and money going there is only a demonstrating poor food culture. People, stay home and save your money. If I could give zero stars I would.More

I have been to this restaurant 3 times. It's always full here, but the manager manages it just fine. He can seat all the guests, even those waiting outside. The food is exactly what you expect.. Quality material and excellent flavors. I tried every kind...and I was really excited. An incredible combination of environment and cuisine. Great!More

I'm okay with the food. I don't know how they keep assortiment of so many dishes. It is difficult with the parking. Will be there again soon.

I visited this restaurant as it was recommended by locals. I can see they just bought their marketing strategy and flashy light cos food is nothing special and they even have people smoking inside. No worth it.

It's not what it was 2-3 years ago, it's like a fast food, very nauseating sushi, too many sauces. I'm sorry, it was a good restaurant.

„Happy“ has been invented in Varna and the concept is still working. The waitresses are competent and pretty. The menu is Bulgarian and sushi with a constant strive for quality. And each season they come up with some seasonal specials! It’s a pity the franchise...is only located in BG and London.More
