We were treated to a meal here during a recent conference, but unfortunately left uninspired. Whilst the seafood was clearly well prepared, dishes were bland and lacked any imagination - no sauces or seasoning to add the x-factor. Service however was very good and attentive.

Very overpriced and prawn cocktail poor . Friendly staff but definitely not worth it . We were very disappointed . Both the quality and portion sizes were poor

One of the best meals we have got in the area of Zadar. We have tried meat dishes and pizza. Salat could have a bigger size. Amazing view on the sea. After 20.00 the tarase can be easilly enjoyed even in the sunny day.

Decided to try this place, rated one of the 15 best adresses in Croatia. No terrace and not very appealing from the outside, the inside reveals a classic restaurant setting as one would expect fro a sea resort resturant. The place was maybe 2/3 booked...More

Description
The members of the Pavin family explain their lifelong successful tradition with the motto: "Our guests feel at home here and the meals we serve them are the ones we would prepare for us." The Niko Restaurant is situated just 3,5 km from the town centre, in the picturesque location known as Puntamika. It is surrounded by the sea, soft flowing winds, with the panoramic View of our 3,000 years old town of Zadar, the town with rich historical background and numerous cultural and historical monuments and museums. The restaurant has seating for 150 people. Its cuisine is based on the fish and the house specialities are scampi, fish (which our guests choose themselves from an abundant fresh selection) and lobsters from our own aquarium. Not only the pleasant atmosphere and the world class cuisine are meritorious for the overall enjoyment you will experience at Niko's, the credit also goes to the klapa Niko (choir) founded by the owner himself.
