Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant is in a side street off Stradun, the main street of the old town. they have a small but well priced and delicious seafood menu and the quality is much higher, and the prices more realistic, than the touristy rip off places on...nearby streets. Its not large nor is it particularly comfortable but for a quick lunch it's perfectMore

Really tasty prawn dishes served in a variety of ways to suit all palates. I did ask the waiter how big the serving would be and he shrugged off my query saying, "we sell snack food" so I suppose I should have known. Definitely paying...tourist trap prices, but the food did at least seem fresh. The pictured dish was over £10 - definitely not filling enough for that price for your average holidaymaker!More

A perfect lunch stop, with food prepared with care and attention at reasonable prices. A gem in a town where substandard tourist fare at exorbitant prices is the norm. Lunch prawn or tuna sandwiches are fresh and tasty (54-59kr). Local wines good value and quality....You aren’t paying for a grand view as it’s just tucked off the main drag in a quaint side street.More

Ordered prawn tempura which was lovely but at 3 prawns for a tenner, pricey! Service not overly friendly. Never had ice cold merlot before.

Had a wonderful lunch for 2 here. Ordered the tuna sandwich, shrimp ceviche salad and the shrimp tempura... All three were lovely, the tempura lived up to its reputation - perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce. Rose wine was nice and well priced. Sat outside...watching the world go by.... Service was relaxed and friendly - if we ever go back to Dubrovnik we’ll go back here!More

Food was good, nice seating outside in one of the alley. We had shrimp tartar and shrimp/sea bass dish - a perfect lunch break with local beer\.

My husband and I both ordered the shrimp tempura dish. We thought the dish was very salty and the tempura shrimp was drenched in sauce, making it soggy. Disappointing meal after hearing great things about this restaurant.

Amazing shrimp sandwich and ceviche for lunch. Even better, not outrageously expensive for Dubrovnik (translation: it's not cheap but a lot less expensive than most other places you'll find).

Pleasant informal dining just off the main street in Dubrovnik. We were a bit over faced with how pricey some of the restaurants in Dubrovnik were. We didn’t want anything stuffy and this hit the mark. Carnage of wine and some well thought out tapas...was perfect for us.More

Small tapas place that has really flavourful shrimps. Great tempura prawn as well... Must order the shrimp and seabass combo. Reasonably priced for the qualoty of food and location

Went there for dinner, had the tuna confit and shrimp and zuchini taetar along with some local white wine. Food was excellent as was the wine, went back for a lunch the next day.

Lovely little alley way. But the dishes were quite small. Not my favourite type of prawns with shells etc - very fiddly and left you feeling a bit hungry. Quite pricey. Good for people watching.

We really enjoyed the famous “shrimp tempura with soy sauce”: they were simply amazing. We also ate tuna and it was really tasty and very well cooked. The place is characteristic, I wouldn’t say elegant, but rustic, clean and nice with its wooden table and...customised tablecloth. I really enjoyed.More

We visited The Pink Shrimp whilst on holiday and really loved the food. We told the chap that served us we were hungry and he recommended having 3 or 4 dishes between us. That was perfect! Tapas style prawn dishes whilst watching the world go...by. We thoroughly enjoyed!More
