I'll keep it short; in my five day visit to Dubrovnik, out of the 5 restaurant dinners and several more casual places I ate at, this one takes the trophy as the best one by a large margin. Not too many options on the menu,...More

We were told this was one of the best restaurants in the old city and I can only acknowledge that. Amazing food and service. Very pricy as well, but we were warned in advance so no complaints on this side of the table.

Myself and three friends visited here today on a recommendation! I had the squid and fries, having never had squid before I was the typically anxious customer. It was suburb and I can highly recommend the service and food! Very good!

We were recommended this restaurant and based on the reviews, we were excited to try it. This is a restaurant that serves fusion food. If this is what you are after, this is great. We were with a toddler and a child, which made things...More

This is a beautiful little restaurant that we visited for lunch, again more on the look of the place than anything else. Very friendly and helpful staff and food was really good. Not expensive and would certainly visit here again. Worth a visit.

Description
Hidden gem in the hearth of Old Town Dubrovnik!Restaurant Marco Polo is hidden in the hearth of the Dubrovnik Old Town, in a traditional courtyard of street called Lučarica. Small family restaurant is placed in a private and calm ambient and it offers oasis of busy streets to taste fish, meat and vegetarian specialties of the house. Here is the place where you can taste both traditional recipes from our grandmothers like mussels and seashells in traditional red or white sauce called ‘’Buzzara’’, traditional Black risotto or some of our modern dishes like Tuna Steak Precious Blue in sesame crust.Sharing our food and culture with people all around the world is inspiration for us. We use ingredients like Adriatic tuna, octopus, homemade anchovies, Croatian cheese, Oysters from Ston, extra virgin olive oil from Island of Korčula and lot of herbs to present you taste of our cuisine and culture.Accompanied with excellent Croatian wine, beer and homemade liquors be sure you will experience our past and future on a plate.
