The appetiser was nice, the bread was ok, but the gnocchi was disepointing. It wass realy tuff and I only got 2 prawns in the hole bowl. The bread was also realy dry and was not served with butter or oil
We got a recommendation from locals we met and decided to check it out. Restaurant is super busy so it's better to make a reservation. Started with swordfish ceviche and lavander limonade (so refreshing on this hot night), then moved to smoked mussels risotto and...lamb confit. Congratulations to chef, I wasn't a lamb person before but this - omg! so tender and without smell. We'll be back!
In overall, friendly place and charming staff.More
Very popular place, but not that good. I decided on the seafood pasta, - pasta was fine, sauce okay but the seafood very disappointing. Overcooked and dry - not what you expect from a restaurant next to the fish market
There's not a lot of choice in main dishes, so we decided to share a lot of different starters. They were excellent. Such interesting flavours that went really well together, great combinations. Especially the tuna tartar, the lamb tartar and the carpaccio were wonderful. Also...great and affordable cocktails, loved the Tango. Really friendly staff and great ambiance.More
Although this hyped-up restaurant is in a perfect, secluded location in the middle of Split old town, and the menus are worth a laugh, it stops there. Really. That’s it. We shared the cheese/meat platter for starter, and while ok, it didn’t leave us wanting...more. For main I had the carpaccio and swordfish ceviche (both starters), and though the plate looked appetising, the food was not. The carpaccio was cooked(!!!) and dry as bone, and the fish was in thick chewy slices. I mentioned it to the server, adding that carpaccio actually is supposed to be served raw, but all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. I also ordered wine, the first glass had something floating in it, so I asked for a new one, and a new came back 15 minutes later, lukewarm, also with something floating in it. I’m not a picky eater, nor drinker, but I have never been more disappointed or felt more ripped off than after a visit here. STAY CLEAR.More
