A nice, modern, well-appointed facility, with a helpful, friendly staff. A very popular place, with a good location in town. Tried the Gazpacho – it was very good; the Bombilino -- small fried balls -- these were tasty, filled with bechamel sauce and bacon. My...wife really enjoyed the fried sea bass as I did the Oxtail Risotto. It was easy to reserve here when other places were already booked.More

Really good food nice atmosphere! Would have been better if there was easier to reserve a table in the restaurant. The Webb page feels a bit old..

Nice large place, seating inside and out, in the heart of old town. Great selection of foods -- and a very impressive collection of hanging prosciutto! Expensive but it's a top restaurant for tourists. Still worth a lunch visit.

Excellent lunch in historic Old Town. Go for the local lamb shank as it was awesome. Nice list of Croatian wines on offer by the glass and bottle as well.

Bokeria Kitchen & Wine Bar is just amazing place where you have a chance to enjoy in delicious food while experiencing the full vibrancy of Split old town. We were there for breakfast. We had french toast and granola with seasonal fruit. It was absolutely...delicious. If you have a chance, I highly recommend stopping by this gem.More

Staff is excellent. Food very good, but it used to be more authentic/ local. That was much better. We had fish and steak for mains. Fish was excellent, while steak was very Continental. Just very large slab of meat. Croatian way of cooking is far...more tasty than Continental/European. There was too much of meat. And price was high. Staff again is incredibly polite, well informed, well trained. The prices have gone up this year quite a bit. That is a pity, the way forward would be to open another Bokaria. Either in Solit or nearby. To keep decent standard and food prices. I only have given 4 stars as ladies bathroom, had damaged mirror and there was some water damage in there. When you run an excellent restaurant, you must endure, bathroom looks impeccable as dining room. There are no excuses. It is also important part of Advertising/ marketing .More

Used to be one of the best, now you can see They prefer quantity over quality. Dont get me wrong, food was very good, just it was not the same vibe They had when They opened. I felt very rushed by a waiter to finish...my meal So he could get us out and turn that table once again. I understand the business part but if I paid 150€ for a dinner, let me Enjoy it.More

We had a reservation and got seated right away. We ordered the lamb shank which was fantastic and the pasta dish which had the best sauce! Would definitely go back!

This restaurant was recommended, but it felt like a ripoff. Prepare yourself for a taste of wine, not a full glass. There were two ounces in each of the three white wines I ordered. People ordering red wine received an ounce more. To keep from...having to order a new glass every four minutes, I asked to pay for a carafe, but there is no such option. The waiter then talked me out of buying a full bottle since it would be the same as paying for six glasses. The sea bass was fine but the puree and vegetables they were served with were cold. The waiter then brought a new warm puree in a separate bowl, but the fish was ruined by sitting in the cold puree. The waiter shrugged when I informed him. Eventually, he agreed to bring a new plate. The food was fine in the end, but for the cost and hassle, it was a very poor experience. After leaving, I went to a nearby market to purchase wine and snacks, which were much more satisfying.More

Visiting Bokeria was an excellent choice. The wide selection of wines was impressive and the pasta with truffles along with the lemon tart were truly outstanding! Even though my visit did not happen during the high season the restaurant was full of people, so I...would recommend making a reservation (which was very easy).More

Great location, outdoor seating, friendly service and tasty food. Prices are a bit high, but not unexpected due to the location/ambience. We had the sea bass with a wonderful sun dried tomato topping and cauliflower purée. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the skin...was crispy and well flavored. We also ordered the black squid risotto, which was also very tasty, but a little salty towards the end. Best of all, you can walk 10 steps over to get gelato at the best gelateria in town!More

Brilliant night at Bokeria. Booked on the fly and had some amazing food. Best starter was the (spelled wrong) bombellini, a croquette with cured ham in, which was incredible. The best main was the truffle pasta, which was just delicious. Service was great and friendly,...and the location was fab. Really loved it and we'll go back again when we're in Split next time.More
