Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice location and cute place. Wide choice of food for breakfast or lunch, dinner, dessert.. Everything in one. The portions are okay and the food is tasty.

Stumbled across this restaurant while in Split. Tables laid out on an outside stairwell but everyone looked happy and the plates of food looked good so we decided to try it and were so pleased we did. Food was prepared with care and attention not...just tourist slop thrown on a plate. The staff were attentive and knowledgable. Highly recommend Right next to Hotel Slavija.More

Sat on the stairs outside for a very unique dining experience. Staff were very friendly and the front lady really knew her food. Main courses in a range of prices. Had the seafood pasta - delicious, and the house wine was pretty good. Would definitely...come back.More

The outdoor seating along the steps of the palace is great for relaxing with a drink and a loved one! Some of the seats are made up of compressed egg crates with a colorful pad on top. The atmosphere was great and the food was...really delicious!More

This bar is at the steps of the Hotel slavija and as we were staying there we would have a few drinks here to finish the night off. The same friendly bar man served us each night and soon know our round without being told,...always a good atmosphereMore

We had coctails here, they were really good but the price was a bit steep as compared to other places in Split.

Nice place, friendly service and great wine! We came in for a glass of wine (or 2) and were greeted with blankets as we were soaking wet. The staff were great, and although one of them got my first drinks order a bit messed up,...we really enjoyed hanging out here for a few hours. The food looked real nice, so I'd probably try eating here next time.More

Staff helped me find jewelry store that we couldn't find. Walked us over to it. When it was closed, went back and had delicious cocktail. Ivana and Zrinka were delightful.

Stumbled upon this cute little place while roaming the quaint and electric Old City for a quick drink spot. Although I cannot comment on this bar's food merely because I didn't eat here, I CAN vouch for quite possibly the BEST full-bodied HOUSE RED WINE...I've ever had. Please do yourself a favor and order a glass (or 10) of the Vino kuće Figa. I went here 2 nights in a row for this wine and even tried to purchase a bottle but was told it's unfortunately not made/packaged for point of sale purchase. (If any fellow travelers discover otherwise, please PM me!) This wine is delicious, full-bodied, smooth, rich, and best of all CHEAP. Please order a glass; and have one for me!More

Lovely little bar-cum-restaurant just off one of the main squares inside the palace walls. Some steps up the side of another restaurant lead to it - don't hesitate to walk right on by the first one you come to so you get to this place!...Fresh cooked, tasty, well priced and attentive service with very good English speakers. Cash payment only so don't forget that. Beer is also a good price. Worth a visit.More
