We were cold and in search of something local and hearty and stumbled into the restaurant. It was warm and we were seated quickly. 3 of us opted for the goulash with gnocchi and the 4th member of our party, gnocchi with tomato sauce. Healthy portions of hot food were brought out and we tucked in with gusto. All the... More

Restaurant has a small seating area. The menu is rather ambitious. Service was good. Food - I had ressotto with muscles and clams - was tasty. Table wine was good too. Prices were fair.

I had some local fish here and a risotto, and the food seemed very average. The cook seemed like he would have much rather been somewhere else, and the dated decor might have made the meal experience more memorable if the staff tried showing some effort. The food was decently homemade but all a bit overpriced.

Despite the authentic dishes served here, the service time was quite slow. It's a very small restaurant that only accommodates around 25 people, so there isn't much staff. The food itself was ok. The salad with fresh seafood was better than the main fish dish, however was drenched in olive oil. Overall, it was an average experience. Maybe wouldn't recommend... More

The menu propose local food and it is very good but the price are not from a "konoba" but a restaurant. Main courses are at around 15 euro. But it is a cosy old fashioned antique and historic place that you should try! The young boss is doing the serving and he has accommodate all our wishes without any complain.

I keep coming back, one of the best family owned restaurants in Split. Can't go past the pasticada and gnocchi. Always friendly service, fresh food and good atmosphere, it's a no brainer coming here.

This place is very cheap and served the kind of food that I would have recognised from Eastern Europe years ago. The dishes are large. The octopus salad would have been extremely expensive elsewhere in Europe. We had just come in from Dubrovnik and this was a breath of fresh air. Not Michelin cuisine but we liked this a lot.

We were recommended by the reception staff at our hotel. We went there on our 1st evening after arriving Split. The food was delicious, a little on the expensive side but we enjoyed our meal there. We went again on the evening before leaving Split. We ordered sea bass, prawns on skewers, 2 portions of squid and a pasta dish... More

Arrived in Split pretty late at night, it was one of the restaurants we read about on the guidebooks and they had an open table. We didn't get any fish, instead got the beef stew and squid ink risotto. Stew was quite good but the risotto was undercooked. Wouldn't say it offers anything special.
